Saw them (28M, 30F) arguing at the water cooler so I (32M) on instinct unleashing the devilish pig upon them, which, as you all know, spins and spins. They said I was “fucked up” and “a liability to the company” for chanting ‘the devilish pig, devilish devilish, spins and spins, devilish’ as the devilish pig completed each rotation, hide as dark as night and eyes as blood red as the sinister aura radiating off it. I normally don’t unleash the devilish pig for minor disputes but I was having a bad day and it just sort of slips out, you know how it is. Boss(57M) made a whole thing of it and now HR told me not to approach conflict in the workplace at all and just to shut up and be quiet while I work. But I love to spin the devilish pig, I really can’t help it. It’s been my coping mechanism for a lot of things in my life and I really feel this is a collective slight against me by my workplace. Even my wife (31F) won’t look at me the same and just agrees with everything I say out of fear that any conflict even over small things like groceries might summon the devilish pig. I could handle feeling outcast about it at work but not in my own house. I fear the devilish pig may be straining my marriage now. Am I the asshole?
