Lance Browne

"Tell me about it, I don't have the stomach or the budget for that," he said with a wide grin and patted his torso. He liked to eat but he knew his limits. Weighing the options, he agreed, "honestly nachos are so much more versatile too. Like the options are kind of endless. Though mozzarella sticks are the bomb." He paused and let out a playful grumble at the amount of options available.

He laughed and chuckled, "Ya, eating out is expensive for sure. Sadly I have been cutting back and eating at home and making my meals," he spoke understanding for sure. Lance made it a plan to make food at home more but sometimes he was just so tired and drained after work that he had no choice. "They totally it seems I might just go with the nachos."

"Truly the most flattery I've gotten all day and I do love it," she grinned back, her eyes lit up with warmth. Aliye didn't need the ego boost, but she would always say yes to it. It was, she supposed, not a surprise at all given that she had spent so much of her life now putting herself out there on television. "And coming from a guy as brilliant and kind as you, it always means more, so for real, thank you." Her head quirked to the side then, another soft laugh leaving her lips. "Truer words have never been spoken. Some rules are most definitely meant to be broken. That's the fun of life." Not that Aliye was necessarily a troublemaker, but she did like to stretch the rules where she could to make life more exciting.

"Really? Am surprise because you beautiful deserve a lot of flattery," he replied with a wink and smile on his face as he looked at her. Lance honestly believed that and was almost surprise. He did think that Aliye was beautiful and did deserved all the flattery and he thought she would get more of it. "You are now going to make me blush," he chuckled a bright smile on his face. "Thank you, that's good to have some people who agree with me about rules," he joked.

"No worries at all," he replied with a understanding smile and tone. Lance figured the male had something on their mind and their mind was not here at all and plus he did not take offend to it at all. "You seem to have a lot on your mind tonight," he added soft tone as he took a sip of his drink as he looked at his friend, studying their face. "Plus, it was not that important at all. I just going on and on about some random event. What's up, you can always talk to me and there is no pressure to do so?" @grahamxweber

He smiled, "It's always great to have people visit. I know the animals love it." Most of them loved people, so they loved guests on the farm. "Ah knock it off" he laughed. "Everyone loves you from the sheep on the farm to the guys down the street," he smiled. "No problem, what we are here for," he was glad they were able to do online orders. The shop wasn't that big, so they couldn't be in the store every time. @lancexbrowne

Lance smiled, "Random question for you Mr. Charlie," he spoke with a grin on his face as he looked at the other. "Do you have a favorite animal on the farm?" he asked looking at the male before laughing. "Fine, I will knock it off and save it for another time we hang out for sure." he teased. @charliesxdavis

She nodded. "Neither can I. It's sad, though. That second grade teacher dying like that." Louisa shook her head. It was a tragedy and she wondered how the family was doing. Lord knew she wouldn't be okay if her younger sister passed. As the man introduced himself, she put out her cigarette. "Louisa." She stuck her hand out for him to shake. "It's nice to meet you." @lancexbrowne

"It really is. We worked together and I know their students loved them and also their kids parents," he shrugged his shoulders. Lance had their family in his payers for sure and he also felt bad for the students. He did send some flowers and cards to their family. Wishing that he could do more. "Hopefully I will see you around and we meet again," he spoke as a few text messages lit up his phone. "I got to run but it was really nice meeting you." @louxsheridan

Sliding another shot toward the other, he positioned one more in front of himself. Why he had to be so indulgent to order so many shots, who knew. But at least with company it was better. "So it would seem. Good thing I snatched my place at the bar when I did." He mused, then shook his head at the other's question, a chuckle following. "I am from this town." He stated, then shrugged. "Moved away for college, never came back. Until a couple of months ago, that is." He wasn't going to indulge on the reason why, that was too depressing a topic to have in the company of alcohol. "At least my daughter is excited in getting to see the town I grew up in. She's got a couple of years left before she leaves for college herself." @lancexbrowne

Lance took the shot, lifting it up and as a way of saying thanks and also saying cheers before taking it and letting out a sigh as the alcohol went down. Lance did not plan to have conversation with another or talk to someone tonight but he did not mind at all. He welcomed it and he also welcomed the company. Lance was a social guy and never complained at all when it all about talking to new people he met. He listened to the male, "Ah, welcome back to town," he spoke with a understanding smile and voice. "That's amazing that your daughter gets to see where you grew up in," he added. "I have been in town my whole life and I am pretty sure if I have kids they would be born and grow up here." @rahmipamuk

"You flatter me too much, but please feel free to keep going," she laughed, hand circling in the air as if to encourage him to keep talking her up. Aliye wasn't someone that needed the validation, but was definitely someone that loved to hear it. Her head quirked to the side gently, a sly smile pulling at her lips. "I mean, what's the point of a rule if you aren't at least toeing the line of breaking it every now and then, right?" Pushing boundaries was something she'd certainly never shied away from in life.

"Glad you want me to keep going because, I had no intention of stopping beautiful and plus someone as talented and cool as you deserve all the compliments," he smiled as he looked at her. His eyes bright and his words warm. He loved seeing that sly smile on her lips. Lance did enjoy complimenting people and he did think though that Aliye was indeed beautiful and cool. "Very good point, I wish I have an answer to that. Sometimes rules are meant to be broken I guess?" he added not sure shrugging his shoulders.

"Hey," he said with a firm gripped handshake before sitting back down, "way too many things." He let out a laugh before shrugging a shoulder, "I was feeling mozzarella sticks or maybe some nachos or something. But hey I'm all ears." He was glad to be able to meet up and relax after a stressful day of work, something he had promised himself from the get go. A work-life balance was needed much more so in his line of work, helping out people and being a social worker could be draining.

"One of the hardest things about eating here is that so many things look so good and you want to try them so bad but you can't," he replied with a smile on his face before a chuckle escaped from his lips as he looked at the other. He listened to them and thought for a moment. "Nachos for me will always win over mozzarella sticks unless the mozzarella sticks are from this family run restaurant," he added laughing a bit.

Lance nodded his head, looking at his brother and feeling for the male. He understood that this was not easy at all and could not imagine how they would be feeling and also how Isa would be feeling too. "Totally, I bet it's a lot but am glad you felt comfortable to tell me and you have all my support and my advice," he spoke he knew his brother did not have to tell him about this but was glad they did. "Ya, I can't also imagine how your wife would be feeling and dealing with it all. This is something that will time to navigate and feelings and things will pop up for sure and all you can do it take it one day at a time." @elianxbrowne

"That's true but still, you have every right to wait until you have processed the news and wrapped your head around it for sure Eli," Lance spoke in an understanding tone. "Plus, I will not fault you for not tell me at all. This is major," he smiled at his brother. What Lance said was really the truth. He would not hold it against his brother. "That makes sense and that is totally smart for sure."

Her gaze went from the man to the pier. She knew there had been an estimated time, but she wondered where they were on repairs when it seemed like no crews were there. Flicking her cigarette, she nodded. "You'd think tourist season coming up, they'd get right on it. That hiking accident really seemed to change things." Louisa said and looked back at the man. "I can't say I blame them for switching their focus, but hopefully they do it soon. It'd be good for the town." And she meant that outside of the gravitation tourists. @lancexbrowne

Lance just closed his eyes for a moment, let out an heavy sigh after taking a deep breath and just feeling the cool breeze and letting the silence fall for a moment before it was broken by the others words. "Yes, it is coming up. I almost forgot," he spoke turning to look at her. Lance had been amazed how fast time had been going by fast. It was indeed insane for sure. "The accident really shake things up and I hear it was bad so, I will not blame the town at all."

Charlie smiled, "That's great, they will love to see you." All animals loved to see anyone, for the most part. A few were shy, but mostly in time, all animals were happy to see people. He laughed, "I don't know about that now." Even farm work had started to be careful for. The new liver was the start, but he had to care for his body and not work as hard. "Got you," he smiled as he looked at the log of what they had and grabbed the sizes he needed. "Here you go," he smiled as he set them on the counter. @lancexbrowne

Lance smiled softly. "Awesome, so can't wait. Am going to be counting down the days now till I stop by at the farm," he winked at Charlie before laughing, chuckling softly and rubbing the back on his neck and a sigh escaped his lips. "Maybe we should have some type of contest for me to prove you right," he teased and joked. A chuckle still escaping his own lips. "Also thank you so much," @charliesxdavis

"My man." Rahmi snickered, demonstratively setting down two shot glasses in front of the seat the other started to occupy, picking up one he still had in front of him, he raised it in a toast before downing it. By now, he had grown slightly insensitive to the burning sensation, but the other's expression caused him to laugh. "A bad decision for all the right reasons, am I right?" Rahmi knew he still had a lot of processing to do. In a short timespan he had lost his brother, left behind his home and a job that he loved all so he could go back to his Kismet roots and roll into the family business he had never been interested in. He was definitely adjusting to it all. "Rahmi, and yeah. It's been like that since I got here. Not sure how busy it is usually this time a day." @lancexbrowne

Lance let out a sigh before a chuckle after the alcohol went down. "That was good," he spoke. It had been indeed a long day and he had next off and free so he was not too worried about drinking this late. Lance the person he was someone who rarely made bad decisions and could always control his alcohol for sure, he could count the number of times he had been drunk on one hand in all his life. Lance nodded his head. "Nice to meet you Rahmi," he spoke with a smile. "It normally starts to pick up around this time for sure.

"Well, rules are rules. Can't argue that," she laughed again, giving another warm smile towards her friend. She was certainly not the type of person to turn down being showered with compliments. Her eyes grew wider when he talked through all the places he'd been recently, head bobbing along. "That's so sick, all great places. What was the best thing you saw on your trips? And yes, absolutely always count me in for some good wine." She wasn't a huge wine drinker, but would happily crack open a bottle with a friend any time. "But, yeah, totally hard sometimes, but it's all been good. I like to stay busy, so it's been all good things." She lived the type of lifestyle that she truly couldn't complain about.

"See, just another reason why I think you are awesome and I love chatting and hanging out with you," he replied with a smile on his face as a chuckle escaped his lips. Lance also could not help himself but give Aliye a wink. "Someone who understands the rules and also am guessing who might know when to break them," he added as he bit his bottom lip, still chuckling to himself softly. "I know right, it was amazing and epic," he replied back. "I will say it was the art work and the museums," he answered honestly. One of the main reasons Lance traveled was because of the art and to try some new food and culture.

Lance was glad he was free, the male had been getting back to a normal schedule again. He was working out more, getting enough sleep and really trying to have the whole work life balance. He was glad to hang out with Ollie, he always enjoyed the other company. "Hey Ollie," he replied back with a smile as he extended his hand and shake it before taking a seat. "Oooo, did you see anything that looks good?" he asked.
