Lance was the product of an affair. His father was married to someone else. Lance knew and understood this from an early age. His mom did her best to hide it and protect him, but she could not. Lance never had any hate towards his half-brother like some would. Lance had a mother who was sweet and kind, she showed Lance how to be kind. He did not have a relationship with his brother, and he knew how complicated this was, so he gave them space.Â
Lance grew up to be someone who was smart, he loved learning new things, and he ended up being someone who wanted to try everything he could from baseball, to soccer, to football, to tennis. Lance was someone who was not afraid of any challenges.
Lance was not popular in high school but did make so many friends due to his personality and his desire to try different things. He was part of many different clubs and through those clubs he met so many different people and made many good friends. He had a circle of friends that he trusted and who trusted him. Lance had plans to leave Kismet Harbor for college, but those plans changed.
During his junior year of high school and was sick till his senior year. He had gotten some scholarships during his senior year to schools in Boston, New York, and Washington but he decided to turn them down to take care of his mom. He worked during summers to help support his mom when she was sick, and Lance did not mind at all. He did end up attending Chapman university, getting a scholarship which helped.
Lance ended up studying education and became an elementary school teacher. Lance loves his job as a teacher, he could not imagine doing anything else. Lance did not care that he never left Kismet Harbor. Over the years, he had developed a relationship with his half-brother and now the two of them were close. Lance was glad that he gave them space and time.Â
