let's be honest: yeah, season 5 has a lot of flaws (not only because of byler tho) but I still say that - narratively - byler makes a lot of sense. it seems like, at some point, the script changed drastically and tried to go somewhere else at very last minute.

i'm not saying it was netflix - maybe it was, we don't know - but it is weird to me. as a writer myself, i know that you can't left all those plot holes and unsolved resolutions. that makes you a bad writer and i find it weird, really, that the duffers actually are THAT bad, you know? you have to be very stupid for that. it would mean that you don't deserve your own show nor a popular show like this.

what stick with me the most is that s5 vol.1 fits really well with all the narrative over s1-s4 and byler was the obvious resolution for all of them (mike, will and jane) but was changed very last minute and they tried so hard to erased every byler moment. they didn't talk at all even when they've been attached to each other since the beginning.

according to what i've read, leigh left between season 4 and 5, it could be possible she left before vol.2, right? that's where byler become so apart from each other for no reason. i will never believe milkvan was the original endgame, i won't. maybe that's what matt and ross wanted because it's their fantasy, but i believe that byler was the endgame for the writers and set desingers, costume designers… because it's ridicoulus to think that you're gonna do all that for no real purpose, just to queerbaited your audience?

you have to be even more stupid if you did everything for the queerbait BUT you didn't care for you "real ship" aka milkvan you know? i would believe it if milkvan were good but it isn't, so… what do you mean byler endgame was never on the cards? you're stupid and idiot and a shitty writer if you put so much effort doing queerbait but ruined you're real ship, that's actually sad and make you a joke.

i believe that everything was made to have a real pay off but something happened and they changed it. every plotline with mike and will was erased without any explanation, even when they could addressed it. vol. 1 it's the proof. why do you put mike on wills memories if the next episode they never talk to each other? no heart-to-heart? no shared looks? that's byler all along, no only season 5 but the entire series, right? if you erased it just like that… that's bad writing.
