More injury news, another lower back injury, the latest victim was Trayce Thompson. We won't be seeing bubble butt Trayce for a while but the bright side is the emergence of Christopher Armand Taylor Jr. Im starting to wonder what the hell is going on with the Dodgers physical fitness trainer, it feels like the medicine ball he uses has a malfunction that mutilates lower backs. Lets go down the list of back injuries this year, Brett Anderson, Scott Van Slyke, Adrian Gonzalez, Trayce Thompson, and of course Clayton Kershaw. No more medicine balls for these guys someone inform the Dodgers Lead Trainer to try something new. Any ways lets take the series so we can fly to Washington with less of a concern about the big club.

Look At The Badass-ery. 

Washington plays bounty hunter Sam Chisolm who enlists the assistance of six outlaws played by Chris Pratt, Ethan Kawke, Byung-Hun Lee, Martin Sensmeier, Vincent D'Onofrio and Manuel Garcua-Rulfo to protect a small town from Bartholomew Bougue ( Peter Sarasgaard). Now, I know this looks like it's just a remake (because it is)  & quite frankly if you're the type of person who's going to watch this movie, then that means you like westerns. 

Seven Samuri (1954)

And, if you like westerns you've probably seen the classic Steve McQueen version inspired by the Akira Kurosawa, Seven Samari (which by the way, if you ever have 3 1/2 hrs and can read sub-titles you should definitely watch) BUT this cast is insane! quite frankly maybe that's what this genre needs right now. I mean you had Young Guns do this in 1988. I don't think this movie is trying to be historically accurate or aiming for Oscar gold for most orginal screenplay but the cast is promising and the trailer is pretty awesome. I realize I might stand alone on this issue but I for one LOVE westerns & this movie looks fun as hell.

Portugal came out in the second half playing decent without Ronaldo and despite being on the sidelines Ronaldo still managed to catch all the attention. Running up and down the sidelines and yelling at his teammates it almost looked as if he was head coach! I don't know about you but I see head manager in Ronaldo's future once hes hung up his boots. And although France had chance after chance, it clearly wasn't enough for the host country to bring home the medal. With the formation France had used in the final it had Paul Pogba playing in the wrong position he's typically not used to which I believe led to his talent being misused on the pitch. The whole team played pretty flat in the second half and being a die hard Arsenal F.C. fan you can imagine how tough it was seeing France lose but Portugal were well deserved. In the end, it was a very exciting and surprising Euro 20

Yeh, I said it the greatest movie ever! J.J. Abrams was too busy focusing on directing some small film called Star something? but that's ok. This third film, directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious, Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift) looks like it will have me sitting in a movie seat for more than 2 hours but  it also looks like the funnest installment of the three. Rumor is Pine's going full "Shatnerian" in this one.

I'm no Trekkie and I don't speak Klingon but damn, these movies make me wish I spent the best years of my life in my mother basement learning.

Don't worry if you're still skeptical, L.A. Native will be there opening night to check it out and tell you if it was the greatest movie ever or just crap.
