Just finished reading virgin suicide and omg I’m on shock and awe . The way I felt throughout the book was unmatched to any feeling of a book .the writer somehow creates a subtle perverted feel on the girls from a boys perspective . The writer Created absence of beauty in the girls even when they were deathly ill and a sense of angelic power being held over the boys in life and death .The despair I felt was overwhelming the tale unfolded in such a beautiful way with plot twists and passages of such calculated structure and words. No suprise he won awards 🎀
