Did you watched the Episode Finale of Start-up?

Air date December 6,2020 yesterday some of you quite disappointing because Dalmi and Ji pyeong are not meant to be. But for my honest opinion, the finale episode is superb. 

Ji pyeong already accept that Dosan broke the memories of 15 years ago. FEAR ate him up but some point he still act that he is fine and strong. In a reality, FEAR is our strongest enemy to career, family, friend and love. Dosan taught us to conquer all the FEAR of what we had inside. Take a slide and if we fail try again until we did not notice that success is following us. Success is a consort of patience. If we have this kind of patience, if we work very hard to our dream the victory will coming to us.

Start-up taught us success is not just one snap but to aim the sublime ending feast. Do some hustle, let the people judge you and correct a mistakes. FAILING many times is fine but to learned from it and do what it is right. Failure to our lives is not permanently it is just temporary. Every miscalculation to our story is a lesson and every error there is improvement. 

hello nonnie! i'm gonna be completely honest with you, it's actually not even that bad. yes, it started off with great potential and the writing deteriorated in the latter half, but i can't say i'm surprised when this happens in a lot of kdramas, especially rom-coms. i've definitely seen worse.

the ratings are really bad because the fandom spiralled into ship-wars and started taking sides and tbh that's expected when you cast such talented and beautiful actors like nam joo hyuk and kim seon ho as your leads. they both did a wonderful job with the roles they were given, and if there's one thing that will not disappoint you it's the acting. high class. quality. top notch. you should give it a shot just for that.

everyone develops really strong opinions, especially when media is flawed, and that's a good thing because it gives rise to creativity in the fandom. unfortunately with this show it turned everyone so defensive to the point that they started dragging every other character in order to hype up their faves - which is ironic since that's my main concern with the writing itself, i wish they would've given every character adequate screen time and growth without having to put others down in order to do so.

i (luckily) managed to stay away from most of the drama on tumblr so my honest review would be that it has loveable characters, an interesting plot, some wonderful dialogue, and some really memorable scenes (my favourite ones are the ones between the second lead and the grandma). the premise of the main and second leads are also written differently compared to most kdramas (the male lead doesn't even show up until the second episode i think) which was quite refreshing to watch. the show made me laugh and cry and ride through all my emotions. i quite enjoyed it.

Optimism vs Pessimism 

I just also want to mention that it’s brilliant that the two versions of Dosan and what Dalmi likes about both of them: 

Jipyeong: It’s his mind/brain. It’s the thoughts he splayed on the letters for her to read that made her fall for him she also likes handwriting but I think iits more about the thoughts. It’s also his intelligence and experience and wisdom about companies and logistics that’s being helpful to her. That’s what he’s good for to her. That’s what she falls for when it comes to him. However the mind/brain is connected to logic, it’s meant to see logistics of things, it’s meant to be more analytical and informational like Jipyeong is. But it also leads to pessimism which I’ve already said is not needed to inspire or push someone to go get their dreams which is why Dalmi doesn’t need him right now. She needs inspiration, someone to push her out of her comfort zone and take a leap of faith to be better and fufill her father’s dreams.. That’s what’s holding him back.

                                      Vs
