the thing i love about dan maybe more than anything is that to his core he is an absolute sweetheart. such a kind and lovely and caring person. but he is also SOOOO quick to get bitchy when a situation calls for it and especially when he’s being protective or defensive of phil. like “GET A GRIP [INSERT FULL GOVERNMENT NAME]” was actually so cunt of him it sent chills down my spine. i love you bitchy dan. the cat claws really came out.

on the clock at the cafe thinking about how phil not only recloseted himself indefinitely for all of those years until dan was ready, but also in a way phil kinda let dan come out For him with the whole "obviously we were more than friends" thing in his video, and ALSO, even after dan came out, phil allowed to dan have his moment and he waited until the very last day of pride month to release his own video. and then, after all of that, phil was okay to continue hiding the true nature of their current relationship until dan felt comfortable sharing it, even if that day never came. and when dan tried to apologize for all of the waiting and hiding and lying, phil said it was okay and that there was nothing dan needed to be forgiven for because he just wanted dan to feel comfortable and safe.
