Shiloh, a rather severe looking person with a permanent scowl and brown hair tied tightly in a bun, stares down at their drink like it owes them something. They don't come to this awful hole in the wall bar often, only on nights like tonight when the ER had been a battle zone where massacre had been written all over the walls.
They don't have the staff to be dealing with pile ups on i-79, and as winter went on, it would only get worse. It always got worse.
When Harry makes their way over Shiloh doesn't look up, hoping their demeanor would make it clear they're in no mood for a conversation. Apparently they don't get the message. She's not local, locals would know better. Shiloh sighs and rubs a hand over their face and look up, keeping their tone surprisingly even despite their irritation.
"i'm sure you mean well," they say before Harry can say more than a greeting, "but i've had a long night already."

Blossom, who has thus far come across as air-headed at best and stupid at worse in the conversation goes silent. Her eyes well up with tears and she says in a shaking voice, "this is my favorite song!"

It'd been a long night. They went out together after Swan Lake, Percy and Victor, and Percy, at the very least, was in no condition to be driving home. Nor did he want to go back to the apartment he shared with Felicity. He would never say it aloud, because she was his sister and he did care about her, he'd raised her, but...
There was something about Victor that... That tugged at him. Tugged at him in ways he hardly understood. Felicity was a grown woman, after all, she would be alright for one evening by herself. Percy was sure of that.
As the enter the small little hotel room, Percy turns to Victor. He still felt that tug, that pulling at his heart, wide eyes set on him. It felt like they'd been dancing around each other for centuries, rather than just a couple of months.
"victor," he says, voice a little rough with all the alcohol he's had throughout the night, but he's not slurring. Slowly, he takes his friend's hand and holds it tight in both of his. Holds it for several moments before pulling it to his lips and letting a kiss brush against his knuckles. "i must confess something to you."

He does look worse. He feels worse. But he's so close to a breakthrough on the formula he's attempting to work out that he can't bare to pull himself away now.
"no, no, no, do not worry!" He exclaims, only to turn his head and cough raggedly, whole body shaking as he does. As it passes, he grips the edge of his desk to steady himself. "i am starting... to! feel better!"

"I suppose I can understand that, but--" And then Percy is crying. He's crying, and Victor jolts forward, immediately, reaching forward with his free hand to wipe away his tears. He's used to these outbursts, but he doesn't quite understand why it's happening right now.
So he frowns, tilting his head. "Quite close...okay..." Victor isn't stupid, of course, and he's sure he can discern what that means quite easily.
"Percy, shh, darling. Come here." He moves to sit into the chair next to him instead, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him to his chest. "Just take a breath and start from the beginning, yes? Take your time."
It's almost embarrassing, but Percy can't help it. Can't help his tears, can't help the strength of his emotions in general. He tilts his head down and swallows hard, trying to banish his near hysteria into something more manageable.
"it... it is only that i miss them," he says, taking in a shuddering breath as he tries to categorize the relationship he'd had with them. Friends, surely, but there had been more to it than that. In some, confusing, undefinable way. "but i... i could never be without you, victor! never! i just... feel so mixed up about this!"
