The thing that everyone really needs to understand about this is that, under the capitalist mode of production, this is correct and rational behavior. The problem isn’t that we have a bunch of rich people who all just so happen to be evil; being evil is what makes you rich.

And ever since them and places like them have been putting “Warning: Hot” on their cups because it’s easier for them to just get billions of new non-reusable cups made than to just lower the temperature to even just 170.
