hi op this is a few months old but i just finished the game and im obsessed with them. their japanese ship name is griris (グリリズ) and theyre quite a popular ship in japan!!

i dont think griselle and grisham are related at all because pokemon is a game for children thus extremely unsubtle and would point out familial relationships at the drop of a hat. theyre just raised together in a death cult. someone said theyre like trauma bonded cats

i also dont think their relationship is healthy or normal. there may be some co dependency going on, but they might even hesitate calling each other friends. comrade feels more appropriate. the way they talk about their flop business and their lives (they probably have a hard time renting apartments because theyre social pariahs) they probably even live together

they constantly banter and griselle loves making fun of grisham but they do deeply care about one another

anyway, if you try to date one of them the other becomes really annoying about it

SO FUCKING NORMAL ABOUT THE TEAM FLARE REDEMPTION SHIT .

normally with redemption its characters fighting for forgiveness, trying to make things right so the people around them accept them. which isnt a bad thing at all, but not everyone will forgive you for everything . they might not want anything to do with you, might be scared of you no matter how much youve assured them youve changed. and that hurts.

with team flare, theyre accepting that some people do hate them. some people will always hate them. even if they fix everything, they still wont live “normally” in society.

and they dont give up because of that . they keep going forward, trying to improve for the people who will love them still

there will always be people who wont forgive you, you wont be able to erase everything. but the best thing to do is keep going forward as a better person
