Naomi wasn’t really the person to try and give comfort, when she herself was already so shaken. “Do you want water, or something? It’s going to be okay, something happened, but you’re safe. You did the best thing by calling the police.”

At this moment, the last thing Gigi wanted was anyone’s pity. Right now she didn’t have the time. All she wanted was to be able to get off work so that she could finally go and see her brother, knowing that he of all people would be able to calm her down. “No, I’m fine. Thank you. I just sort of went into a panic.”

“Don’t lie to me.”

“Have you seen Eddie? i really just think that I should just go talk to him for a little bit.”

“Did something happen?” asked Nat, her eyes meeting where Gigi’s were focused, but not understanding what exactly what was going on, but she was worried for the well-being of the other girl, who seemed much more shaken up than she had the other day, telling Nat something was up.

“Nothing really. Besides I’m pretty sure I can’t talk about it anyway,” Gigi said with a shrug, not wanting to worry the other girl. After all, it’s not like anyone really knew if anything actually happened yet anyway, or at least that’s what Gigi kept telling herself.

“It’s not a surprise, Miss Green….” Charlotte said quietly as she gave the tightest smile she could muster. The death had shocked her too. Shook her to her bones in fact. This was Bayside. This wasn’t meant to happen. “We can offer support and help to you…”

“I just can’t believe I nearly sat in it,” Gigi said rubbing her arms as she thought about the night before. Through it all, the only thing that Gigi couldn’t help but think about was that there was at least one person out there who was seriously hurt, or worse, and alone. “I’ll be fine. There’s really not much to do but let it all process.”

Gigi: "There's blood. Behind the Inn. I went out here to do some writing and there's blood. A lot of it." she said panicked, her voice shaking.

Magnus: "There is? Okay, can you see anyone there or is it just blood? I'll be there as soon as possible."

MAGNUS: This is Police Chief Nolan speaking.

“ No, you’re right, babe. I’ll just have to beat his ass myself. –It’ll be fun.” The girl stepped closer to the man who chuckled and muttered something about calling the cops, which only forced a bubble of laughter past Devyn’s lips. “I’m a cop, you idiot.” Turning around to make sure the other girl was behind her, she returned to the man. “I’m giving you two seconds to fuck the hell off.”

Gigi watched the scene in front of her, not wanting an actual confrontation to happen she put her hand on the woman’s shoulder. “Babe, he’s not worth it.” she said leaning into her. 

“That’s silly, cones are ridiculously cheap to buy in bulk. I’ll give you guys each your own, losing a few bucks is worth being nice and keeping the sanctity of ice cream.”

“Aw thanks. You’re sweet. I’m Gigi. I work down at the inn. I haven’t seen you before. Are you new?”

I’ve been here a month already and I still get taken away by how charming Bayside, there’s something new to admire every time I take a step outside. I don’t think I’ve ever been this in love.

“It’s nice to finally meet someone who feels the same way I do. I’m Gigi.”
