I have a lot of pet peeves but I think the biggest one is when people say things like “oh it’s such a small town, only 35,000 people” like bitch my town has 200 people, you need to pick a new adjective 

According to Wikipedia, a small town is 1,000-20,000 people. So although you are correct in stating that 35,000 people is not a small town (it is a large town), you are incorrect in thinking that you live in a town. You live in a village. You are a villager.

I do hate when politicians do something shady and ask for privacy. You are a public figure. You are not some guy who had a video randomly go viral or an actor trying to make a living and have some semblance of a life outside. You are a politician. You mudslung, campaigned, fearmongered and lied your way to the top. This was a choice you made, you wanted to make decisions for us. And noe you’re begging for privacy while your 85 year old body gives out on you during your term in congress or your wife divorces you for cheating on her or you got a DUI in your new sports car? Nuh uh uhhhhhh.
