Folklore heavy fic. Oscar is a giant and Lando is an academic trying to help him. I won’t say more about the plot bc I don’t want to spoil it. This fic has been consuming my brain since I started reading it. It’s so well written, so clever, so emotionally hitting. I’ve cried multiple times reading it and I’ve also laughed out loud. Genius fic.

Holy wow mutual pining and miscommunication. Lando is an f1 driver who just lost the championship to Max by two points because his teammate, Gabi, didn’t follow team orders. Oscar is a faceless streamer doing Minecraft speed-running, and becomes Lando’s mentor in a tournament he joins in an attempt to take his mind off his loss. It’s so well written, the characters are so alive and flawed it’s amazing.
The series Empyrean by @hisokrata
This might actually be the most well written fanfic I’ve ever read. Omegaverse, historical fantasy, it’s so amazing. The writing feels poetic even. There’s so much tasty lore, political intrigue, love hidden and forbidden, backstabbing, it has it all. I don’t know what to say other than that I was in awe as I read it.

Chat fic that has me sooooo invested. The characters are flawed and alive, the relationships are messy, the love hurts just right, but it’s also funny and sweet and shows how friendships are so important to heal.

On a lighter note, this fic is full of crack and shenanigans and it’s so lovely. Superhero/villain AU, hidden identities, a mystery to be solved and soooo much unresolved sexual tension. It’s fucking great

It’s been a while since I read this one but it’s one of very few fics that has made it into my bookmarks. That means I really, really like it. It’s so sweet, truly showcasing Oscar-acts-of-service-Piastri, mutual pining, miscommunication and a happy ending. I ate the entire thing up. It’s so fucking good.

Chat fic that broke me and put me back together. University AU, friendship drama, forbidden love (kinda), trauma and forgiveness. I’d say make sure you read the tags just to be sure because it deals with heavy topics. I cried buckets reading it.
Death and Other Lies by @finifugue
I read this fic and at one point I had to step away because I cried so much. I was literally sobbing, sending voice notes to Julie going “it would have hurt less if he had died”. Honestly, I won’t say anything more about this fic. Happy ending guaranteed, but other than that I don’t want to spoil it because it surprised me a lot when I read it (in a good way)
One More Time by @eiightyone
Lando is stuck in a time loop and he doesn’t understand why. But he has to figure it out to get out of it. Check tags in case it deals with a trigger of yours. I weeped when I read it (you can probably tell by now that I’m a crier lol) but it was also beautiful.
