I need to ask for help. Which is hard for me, but has to be done in this circumstance.
I paid the fee. 10k between two credit cards.
At this point, any help (even 1 buck) is helping me.
I don't have generational wealth or people in my family that can support me. It's just me. Working hard and budgeting best I can. I am getting help with one bill (internet) from my Dad. Go Dad. He's on disability fixed income so, I am so grateful.

I do realize that I sort of put myself in this position. At this point, I'm just trying to mitigate the damage. I did hit a man with a hammer and broke the social contract of our society. I know that. But know that this man had it coming. He's abusive, a drug addict, and abused both my mother, my half-sibling, and their live-in homeless man that my mother tried to support despite her horrid, poverty, conditions of living. He had it coming, I just wish it wasn't me. I had a trauma response and boy is it expensive. He sexually harassed me. Whether on purpose or on accident (he claims), it was what it was and I have been sexually assaulted by an older man before as a child.
I am being charged with a Class 3 Felony; Assault with a deadly weapon (hammer).
What I care about are my father and cats. All I really want is to stay out of jail. And, if I can, keep my job. To support them both.
