okay yeah, before you say anything - maybe i shouldn't have bought another ukulele. because - yes, there is an entire wall of my apartment dedicated to displaying said ukuleles, but you don't understand. this ukulele i just purchased is special and is going to fix me. the minute this is delivered, i will be whole again. just look at this ukulele and tell me that it isn't perfect for me.
If it brings you happiness, then it was a good purchase. That's the way I view things. As long as you're not putting yourself into a destitute position, you deserve to do something to bring a little happiness into your life.
freddie somehow managed to escape this morning (don't ask me how) and after hours of searching he just casually waltzed back in like nothing happened, with what i'm pretty sure is one of those labubus things? so if anyone's missing theirs: i'm really sorry! please pick it up when you can because its face is starting to creep me out a little. it's currently perched on my windowsill, not blinking, and i'm 80% sure it moved its head when i wasn't looking...
You know, I never got the labubu craze... Is it supposed to be like this generation's furby? Because they pretty much did the same exact thing... except they could talk and they would do so, randomly, in the middle of the night...
My cousins had one when I was younger and I swear, man, it still haunts me to this day.
think i just broke my personal record for most pool cleanings in a single summer. somebody give me a medal.
also, had a client today ask if they paid extra could they get a skinny dip session with me. debating whether i should add that on to the elite package or if that might be too much. i don't wanna lose clients, even the uptight ones. sometimes they pay the most. thoughts?
With this heat, I can imagine pools are definitely getting used more and more, so I'm glad that you can reap benefits from it.
As for your debacle? I say if you're confident enough in yourself, go for it. Yeah, some people are uptight and might look at you funny, but they really shouldn't because at the end of the day, it's your body and you can choose to do what you want with it. Hell, I've got people all the time telling me that I shouldn't be modeling underwear, putting all my goods out there for people to see, but I just ignore them. Body positivity and sex positivity are things we need more of these days, you know?

A Florida native, Ronnie had always had a fascination with finding the perfect shot. Defaulting to landscape shots as their favorite, Ronnie would travel the United States to take pictures of the various biomes that they had - from the desert in the West to the lush mountains in the Northwest to the swamps in the Southeast to the picturesque snowfalls in the North, their photos were perfect and garnered attention from a few galleries. Of course, working as a photographer didnāt pay much so they often freelanced and would find work with various studios - including ones that took photos for schoolsā yearbooks. Within the last month, however, Ronnie has recently come out to their associates as a demi-woman and uses the pronouns she and they - but Brody and the rest of the family have been aware and using the pronouns for the past three years. Brody and Ronnie, or his Ma as he calls her, are close but not as close as they couldāve been because of Ronnieās travels - but Ronnie made sure that he understood and appreciated his Latinx heritage and educated him on Latinx culture.
Never did Mallory think she would have found love in her hometown of Montana, but after attending a photo gallery with a couple of friends, she wound up meeting Ronnie and the two wound up falling into a whirlwind romance. And while her parents werenāt exactly thrilled with her relationship with a woman, they still accepted her and stood by the two of them at their wedding - which was especially good considering the fact that Ronnieās family had disowned them. While Ronnie worked as a photographer and traveled every so often, Mallory worked as an accountant for a business in Billings and it was through her colleagues that she heard of a young boy that was in need of a home - and after talking it through with Ronnie, the two of them adopted Brody. After that, Mallory wanted to raise her own child and after going through a sperm bank, wound up pregnant with Hope - but she made sure that Brody didnāt feel neglected or at all lesser for not having blood to him. Between cooking with Brody, taking him to his various lessons and cheering him on at his games, the two have a strong bond that Brody relies on when times are tough and he needs someone to give him a pick-me-up.

The youngest of the Weston clan, itās safe to say that Hope is definitely spoiled. Despite the age difference between Hope and Brody, the two are inseparable and the moment that she was born, Brody became extremely protective over her. Heās the type of brother that partook in tea parties and allowed his sister to dress him up, as well as dressed in a matching costume with her for Halloween, and though the two of them tease each other, at the end of the day, Brody would do anything for her.

As far as Brody is concerned, his family is the only family he knows and needs. Adopted by two loving feminine people that wanted to create a family of their own and raised as if one of them had carried him, Brody was taught early on that the world was far more complicated than what people in Montana would lead one to believe and he was raised to love everyone no matter how different or similar they were to him. They also made sure that he knew that he was capable of anything that he desired, ensuring that whatever whim or desire that he had that theyād nurture instead of shoot down. Whether it was martial arts lessons, dance classes, basketball practices, vocal coaching or trips to the skatepark, they made sure that Brodyās dreams and desires werenāt stifled and they encouraged him the best that they could ā and one way they did that was by moving to California where opinions werenāt soā¦stilted.
With his parentsā encouragement, Brody would grow to have a wide-range of interests that, frankly, made him an enigma among the kids of his high school. While some would be quick to peg him as a jock because of his athleticism in basketball (one of the best point guards in California, change his mind), he was quick to shoot that down when they would see him practicing with the dance team or auditioning for the school play. Labels werenāt something that were easily pinned on Brody, and that only made him all the more interesting to his peers - and to people that appreciated him - but Brody? Well, Brody was just being Brody. He had a wide range of interest and he was told that labels didnāt really matter, especially in high school - what was to stop him from befriending a geek one day and a jock the next?
Of course, there was one interest that Brody had that triumphed all the rest - and that was his interest in performing. Whether it was strumming his guitar, singing along to the songs on the radio or even playing the role of someone in a play, Brody loved being on a stage and he loved any aspect of being a performer. And with parents that supported him, Brody was determined to pursue this as his future. Even before graduating high school he would try to audition for tv commercials in the hopes to get his name out there, and he met with an agent once he turned 18 to help him secure jobs because, really, it was an industry about who you knew. And like every aspiring actor, he did wind up working at a diner as a waiter to help pay bills until he was no longer struggling.
But his first job didnāt come as an actor. No, his first offer was actually to model for a clothing company, them having taken a look at Brodyās good looks and noting that heād be perfect for it. And Brody? Well, he wasnāt one to turn down people telling him he was pretty, so he accepted the job and when it turned out to be for an underwear company? It didnāt bother him. After all, work was work and he was confident in his body, so he didnāt mind being a model for them. And the campaign turned out to be such a big hit that they wound up hiring him as their go-to model, giving Brody a chance to be able to put his face out there and meet important people that would help bolster his career. And, eventually, it helped, as soon he was getting a signed on to a soap opera as a characterās friend.
Once he wound up getting a credit to his name, it was easier to get a few more. A guest spot here, a recurring role there, a couple of lines in a movie until, eventually, he wound up getting to be on his own television show. It didnāt last long, just a season or two due to poor viewership and a bad timeslot ā and the fact that the usual television formula didnāt quite work anymore now that there were bingeable shows on streaming services ā but it proved that Brody could hold his own as a leading man. And he was quickly snatched up to be the romantic interest in an up-coming romcom on Hallmark. It may not have been a blockbuster, but he was still getting paid and he was still getting his name out there.
And with the movie in post-production, Brody has decided to try his hand at trying to get an EP made and distributed in the hopes to prove to people that heās more than an actor ā heās a real performer that can sing, dance, and act. And maybe, just maybe, the more he puts himself out thereā¦ The more people will know his name.
