hospital staff: mountncat

                       "  BIG  CHEESE,  huh  ??  "  Brows  raise  at  miss  Bunny  as  he  stands  over  her,  digits  wrapping  around  his  own  wrist  behind  his  back.  She's  a  funny  kid,  he'll  give  her  that  much.  From  where  he  stood,  dressed  down  in  his  black  scrubs,  he  probably  seems  like  he'd  suck  the  fun  out  of  everything.  Only  occasionally,  when  it  called  for  it.

                       Feet  carry  him  throughout  the  stark  white  halls,  sterile  from  the  cleaning  crew  earlier  that  day.  Hands  rest  in  pockets  but  the  voice  he  hears  has  Jack  stopping  in  his  tracks.  Brows  raise  above  hazel  orbs  to  look  at  the  man.  Now  what  could  he  want  with  Abbot  ??  Clearly  it's  something,  if  Doctor  Wright  had  been  looking  for  him.

                       Chest  rises  with  an  inhale.  Doctor  Abbot  thinks  a  moment  about  it.  Maybe.  As  in  you  can't  always  do  everything  by  the  books.  Robby  knows  this  better  than  anyone  else.  At  times  they  have  to  get  a  little  creative,  being  a  combat  medic  taught  him  that  much.  But  it  doesn't  bother  him.  He'd  rather  be  a  bad  influence  than  a  bad  attending.

                        Fingers  raise  to  grasp  at  the  stethoscope  around  his  neck,  brows  furrowing  in  suit.  If  Jack  is  a  bad  influence,  Robby's  a  worse  one.  He's  just  in  denial  about  it.

                       Smile  tugs  at  the  corner  of  lips,  hands  clasped  together  behind  his  back.  Jack  lives  to  be  the  voice  of  reason.  And,  at  times,  a  menace  to  Robby.  How  could  he  not  ??  It's  easy  enough  to  agitate  the  man.

                       Jack  is  the  very  epitome  of  fun,  if  you  ask  him.  If  you  asked  anyone  else,  they  might  have  different  opinions.  He  likes  to  ignore  them.  They  all  know  when  to  turn  it  on  and  off,  thank  god,  but  even  within  the  trauma  bay,  he  thinks  he's  having  a  grand  time.  How  could  he  not  love  this  place  ??

                       Hands  remain  in  pockets.  Jack  wears  the  action  like  a  piece  of  armor  these  days,  keeping  hands  busy  so  they  don't  reach  for  something  they  ought  not  to.  Alison  is  that  very  thing  he  shouldn't  be  reaching  for,  and  yet  he  can't  help  but  to,  especially  on  evenings  when  his  head  feels  more  like  a  battle  ground  than  a  place  of  calmness  like  it's  meant  to.  She  helps  quiet  the  chaos.

                        Elbow  nudges  gently  into  her  side  to  garner  attention,  eyes  fixed  on  Virgil  milling  about  behind  his  desk  through  the  window  that  separated  the  cells  (  the  very  one  that  had  them  sliding  tongue  over  tongue,  breathing  heavily  on  top  of  ).  He's  so  adamant  about  this  whole  Cougar  thing,  he's  making  more  buttons.  Sort  of  funny,  if  you  ask  Jack.
