I used this to practice a bunch of things, and also, uh. I haven't drawn kissing since I was like, 12, I'm faceblind, and I used no reference. Because I like torturing myself. My apologies if the faces aren't facing.

Since I used Autodesk Sketchbook most of y'all probably won't be all familiar with my brushes. But for those who do:

I start with a slightly tweaked version of the Ink Brush to block out my shapes and get my forms out where I can get as messy and choppy as I want until I find what works.

I usually do this in a bright red because I see it better than most other colors.

I also use a secondary pen stylus that has less pressure sensitivity so I don't push too hard with the sketch process and I don't focus on teeny tiny things while sketching.

I use the same stylus to do the second refinement sketch with the brush I use for line art. For the comic I use the Tattoo Inker because I like how scratchy it is.

I also do it in black because it helps me separate visually from the base sketch.

Then I use my actual stylus pen and the same brush in my line colors for the line art where I CAN focus on tiny details and make it all nice and perdy

- animals can talk…just occasionally

- you’re haunted by the ghost of your grandfather, but rarely

- there are tiny creatures that will fix things for you in the night but only if you meet their hyper specific demands. also they’re scared of you

- Yoba is an alien (?)

- also the local shopkeeper’s daughter isn’t his she’s the wizard’s and a townswoman named Emily is a psychic, in case you were curious
