You asked me if I thought we could ever find peace.

You have to accept that sometimes that’s how things happen in this world. People’s opinions, their feelings, they go one way, then the other. It just so happens you grew up at a certain point in this process.

Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It’s the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.

I think one of my favorite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way through how much you enjoy them and their existence.

The best reason to go forward, is knowing you can’t go back.

Dreams are only dreams until you wake up and make them real.

You saw flowers in me where I saw weeds. Where I saw dirt you showed me how to plant seeds. But most of all, you taught me that I’m the only person that I need.

When people won't leave me alone about eating fear foods
