...Thinking?

Hoody: He dabbles in photography. He takes photos of crime scenes, of the plants on the edge of the forest, of targets and co-workers, he keeps them in a shoebox. But he can't do it too often. Too often and his skin starts to crawl, and paranoia sets it for a reason he can't quite understand. It makes him want to run, to avoid Tim at all costs but he just can't figure out why. He also likes information collection, but that's more of a necessity than a hobby.

Masky: Tim likes to write. He keeps track of emotions, feelings, how the days pass. It helps ground him in reality, makes losing time less terrifying when he can track down exactly when he lost himself to the operator. It also just gives him something to do instead of staring at a wall for five hours straight.

Toby: Toby has done literally everything. Crocheting, running, swimming, drawing, writing, gaming, you name it, he's done it. He runs through hobbies incredibly quickly and enjoys most of them, but his favourite is woodworking. He carves things on occasion, little animals, sometimes a bowl or a cup. It's a risk to his fingers but it makes him happy to see people's faces when he gifts them his work.

Liu: He likes to knit... which is difficult when you're missing several fingers, but he's figured it out. As I've mentioned previously, he knitted his own scarf, he has also knitted several vests. On a complete flip side to that, Liu has also been known to get drunk and aggressively play the drums at whichever rock bar will take him.

Clockwork: Natalie still has a keen passion for art. She loves creating tattoo designs for herself and others, and she sometimes graffiti's the walls of her neighbourhood when she's bored. Loves a skate park, a lot of her art is sprayed on ramps because she likes the texture of the concrete.

Jane: She likes photography, specifically portrait photography. She loves taking photos of people, exploring their identity through framing and lighting. This hobby started during her recovery, when she would watch the other patients and studying how their scars differed to her own. She also likes pottery, but she's not very good at it. It's more Mary's hobby then hers.

Jeff: Jeff plays guitar. That's literally all he does, well, that and play video games with BEN.

EJ: He likes to listen to the animals in the forest, or people talking, or just the sound of the city. Listening is one of his favourite things, it makes him feel more human, even if it's only temporary. The best sound, in his opinion, is wind through the trees.

Candy Pop: Gossiping

LJ: Jack cooks in his free time. Not like a normal person though, no, that would be boring. LJ cooks with chemicals. He makes food that no human could possibly survive eating, and then he finds an unwilling test subject and watches them choke on their own blood. He's a lovely fella with lovely hobbies.

Jason: Toy making. It's in his name.

Ann: Ann cooks like a normal person. When she was growing up her grandmother used to sit her on the kitchen counter and teach her the family recipes Not that Ann can remember that, her past life is blurry, she can barely remember anything. And yet those recipes remain, lodged in her mind, bringing her joy whenever she makes them for her new family.

Dina: Dina likes to read. She'll read literally anything she can get her hands on, after years of scripture and psalms, she's overjoyed whenever she finds a new genre to enjoy. Her personal favourites are fantasy, historical fiction, and the occasional crime novel. She has a whole bookshelf and she's one of the library's most frequent visitors.

Helen: Painting. Yet again... Kinda their whole thing.

Puppeteer: He sneaks into theatres to watch shows. Any shows. Ballet, musicals, opera, shitty highschool productions, he'll go to all of them. He feeds off the anxiety of the actors while also getting a chance to indulge in his enjoyment well crafted storytelling... and singing. He likes hearing people sing.

Kagekao: He hangs out with animals, and also has a parkour route that he takes every day across the roofs and alleys of the city. He enjoys how freeing it is to be able to jump above people's heads... It also gives him a chance to scope out new victims.

Slenderman: Stalking people in the woods.

Zalgo: Tormenting the helpless? I really couldn't think of something for him. It's torment or... crosswords.

BEN: Coding, gaming, hacking other people's computers, anything that involves technology, this little guy is doing it. All while he is eating copious amounts of junk food and bullying Jeff. He's really just 'living' the dream.

Nina: Nina has a lot of online friends who she chats to, she also likes to experiment with makeup and hair dye, fashion is one of her many hobbies and brings her a lot of joy even when she's going through a rough patch mentally.

Vine: Reading is Vine's second favourite thing to do, right after doll making, he likes non fiction books, history, geography, and art. He likes to imagine himself in other times, in other realities, and to understand how things work. Sometimes he draws inspiration from historical clothing and artistry to create his dolls.

Sally: Drawing and tea parties are Sally's go to modes of entertainment, and she likes to cover her walls in all the artwork she's created. She uses crayons, pens, paints, and sometimes even oil paints that Helen gives her for her birthdays to make her masterpieces, most of which involve the man who watches her from the forests.

Kate: She likes the fetal position, curled up nice and tight, usually with a wall or tree against her back so that she doesn't feel too exposed. She's also been known to fall asleep standing and crouching while in the forest, unable to drop her guard even while unconscious.

Hoody: He likes sleeping on his back and staring at the ceiling until he falls asleep, but he's grown accustomed to sleeping on his side. As I've said in previous hc's, him and Tim often share beds for the sake of practicality, they each face one way to ensure their exits are properly monitored at all times.

Masky: Same as Brian, only he likes to sleep on his front. Face down. Grappling his face into the pillow. Is he okay? Is he suffocating? Is he dead? These are all questions that pop to mid upon seeing Tim's sleeping position.

Toby: His body doesn't properly register when he's getting tired, so Toby sometimes just drops. But when he does make it to a bed, he likes curling up really, really small and putting the pillow over his head. Bonus points if he can do it under the bed, he likes it under there.

Liu: Average side sleeper. He likes having one arm under his pillow and the other one free just in case someone breaks in. He can't sleep on his back anymore because it increases his chances of sleep paralysis.

Clockwork: She likes to be propped up. Loves a headboard, especially when they're fluffy. She started sleeping in this position when she almost broke her back after a job gone wrong, the bruises took weeks to heal and her usual back sleeping was uncomfortable. It was a way to apply pressure and keep her spine straight at the same time. She just never stopped.

Jane: Spooning with her wife. Happy and warm and with a gun under her pillow... She's the little spoon.

Jeff: He sleeps like he just got thrown off the third floor of a building. Sprawled out like Peter Griffin after falling down the stairs, full on starfish on whatever surface is closest. (Seconds Peter Griffin death pose reference I've made on this blog... I haven't even watched family guy)

EJ: Crouched or curled in whatever dark corner he can find. Bonus points if there's some form of water nearby, he finds the sound soothing even if it means he can't hear danger approaching. He has a specific river he frequents often when he needs a nap.

Candy Pop: Doesn't sleep.

LJ: Also doesn't sleep.

Jason: Doesn't sleep but likes to lay down on a bed on his back and close his eyes for several hours. During that time he brainstorms ideas and organises the production of his toys/ victims. He lays there like a dying victorian child, arm out and everything.

Ann: Side sleeper, facing the door so that she can be ready if Sally decides to jump on her in the middle of the night. She's always been a light sleeper and enjoys having a nightlight on, the dark makes her uncomfortable.

Dina: Face down. She sleeps with her knees under her like a cat loafing. It's how she used to sleep when she was chained up, and even though she now has a bed and several pillows, she still likes to curl up and hide from everything.

Helen: They don't have a conscious sleep position, they just drop randomly when the sleep deprivation hits. Sometimes it's slumped over a desk, sometimes it's face first in a pot of blood. They go where the wind takes them.

Puppeteer: He cocoons in strings sometimes, and other times he just sleeps on his back like a normal person. Every morning he wakes up and there's string everywhere. It winds around anything it can reach... including Helen if they're sleeping next to him.

Kagekao: Doesn't sleep. But he sometimes sits and lets stray animals sleep on his lap.

Slenderman: Doesn't sleep.

Zalgo: Also doesn't sleep.

BEN: Usually falls asleep midway through climbing back out from a device, so Jeff will often find him laid face down on the floor with his foot stuck in static, or halfway out of a TV using his arms as a pillow. If he ever makes it to a bed then he's a side sleeper.

Nina: Curled up in a ball under many, many blankets.

Vine: He prefers sleeping on the floor with his back to the wall, he rubs his feet together like a cricket to calm himself down. It makes him feel safe, especially if he can see the door.

Kate: Hairy. She lives in the woods. She's feral and has no access to any kind of self grooming equipment, and even if she did, she wouldn't be in control of herself enough to use it. She's lucky if she ever gets to shower, let alone do any maintenance.

Hoody: Average. He trims if he has time, but honestly he doesn't care much. Being stalked by a demonic entity will really lower your standards surrounding manscaping.

Masky: Slightly hairier than Hoody, same reasoning too, only his is smattered with a little bit of self hatred and a large amount of depression.

Toby: This man didn't shave or trim until he was about 21. You ever tried to shave your balls with Tourette's? No? It's not fun. Bad enough he has to shave his face, he's not risking losing anything more delicate. All that to say, he's hairy all over.

Liu: Well kempt. Hated shaving before his transition and upon starting T, realised that he was no longer held to those standards anymore... (It definitely has nothing to do with the fact that he has severe body dysmorphia and can't look in the mirror for too long without freaking out.)

Clockwork: Hairy. Loves her bush, dyes it (and her armpits) different colours for fun. She matches them to whichever hair colour she's using at that time. She used to shave but she found it tedious while on the run from police.

Jane: She finds waxing relaxing. She also likes the satisfaction of ripping the strips off her body over and over and imagining violent scenarios in her head. What a sweetie. It also helps with maintenance, given her body is at least 60% of her is burn scars, and ingrown hairs can cause infections in areas that are still healing.

Jeff: Fully shaved to an unnatural degree. Is it burn scars? Is it his weird 18 step shaving routine? Who knows. Also he doesn't do it in the shower, he does it in the sink. Ew.

EJ: ... He's kinda fuzzy all over. So... Yeah.

Candy Pop: Doesn't grow hair unless he wills it to be there. If he does, it's neat... and neon blue, which is fun.

LJ: Also doesn't grow hair. His clothes are part of his body, like they're fused to his skin, but when he shifts forms/ moulds himself into a different shape temporarily he can make it appear. It wouldn't be normal hair though, more like when baby hairs are painted onto a doll. Flat on the skin, no texture.

Jason: Well groomed. He likes to be 'presentable' despite literally nobody but him seeing any part of his body. His body hair is brown, a fact that greatly frustrates him, but also allows him to avoid falling for LJ's questioning about whether the 'carpet matches the drapes'.

Ann: Her body hair grows in the wrong places. Side effect of being made of jumbled up body parts, some of which aren't hers. She likes to shave, but sometimes the razor gets stuck in her stitches and tears her. After one day of nearly detaching her leg, she made a vow to leave her hair alone, and has ever since with occasional trims.

Dina: Trims on occasion. She wasn't raised with the societal pressure to shave, so when she finally made it into the real world and learnt about that beauty standard she was very confused. She tried shaving once. She hated it, hasn't done it since.

Helen: Trimmed. Isn't allowed near razors for an assortment of reasons, namely the first one that comes to mind. And they don't grow much hair in general, they never have. They mourn the possibility of growing stubble every day.

Puppeteer: This is a ghost who cares about manscaping. He's naturally very hairy but likes to keep it in check best he can. His 'body' returns to its normal state every week or so (kinda like claudia in iwtv) but he doesn't mind. Shaving takes like 5 minutes for him because of the whole 'razor strings coming out of his fingers' thing.

Kagekao: I don't think this guy has body hair. I don't know if this guy has a body. He's kind of just a dark mass in the rough shape of a dude with claws.

Slenderman: He... He doesn't have genitals, so... I guess he's clean shaven in a way? If you count being an entity made of flesh and wood to be clean shaven? There's nothing there, there's nothing anywhere on him.

Zalgo: He has a lot of small teeth all over him. They surround the mouths and gather in places where normal humans would have body hair... only they can't be removed without pain. Which doesn't really bother Zalgo, he likes pain.
