Both had meet during so many time travel things to the point that both of them started calling eatch other when they are about to do some changed in the timeline or when they suspect someting.

So it thanks to this that Flash belived in the newly named Red Robin when the kid said that Batman was in the past.

It was also thanks to a mesage sended by the Time Mentor of Phantom that he could only help the kid with some things. Like giving them special meds and distract the leage so the bird could rescue theyr dad.

It was also this friendshup that made Flash aware of the Anti-ecto act and put a end of that before it started.

But now- well they did not have time to do some manbo jambo, save the universe, give a head ups to the cientific and save the anonimus of the kid in the heroes database.

Flash was just about to run to have some extra time to beat up the baddie of the month, when a green note apear in front and made him trople.

"Hey Batman, be ready to do a lot of damage control. Im calling the med bay in advice And DO NOT SHOOT ANITHING THAT COMES FROM A GREEN PORTAL"

And a portal did opened. Out of it comes a mildly injured and glowing with so much emotions Phantom. A hurt and pised our Phantom.

Flash knows instantanly.

And just pointed to the big bad of the week, stoping the teammates that wanted to run and help the kid and or scole them.

"Someone mesed with his grave. The kid is pissed of. And helping him indulge induging on one of his Obsesions can acelerate his healing. That, and he needs to ler oit some fumes."

i find so much therapy talk aimed at humans has too much flowery abstract prose about mindfulness or whatever but for myself I really prefer an approach focused on hard science and what biochemical processes are responsible for me feeling this way, especially anxiety. Also why i prefer listening to lectures given by psychologists or counselors made for other fellow psychs and counselors.

But yeah I feel like there’s lessons anxious humans can take home from anxious dogs

reactiveness is usually the product of fear and unconfidence

when something becomes too overwhelming slow down, add more distance

every time you practice an avoidant behaviour it gets more ingrained and will take more effort to beak the habit once it has been well established.

try refocusing on something else when you feel yourself starting to get worked up over something

progress is slow and if you think you can fix things overnight you are setting yourself up for disappointment

don’t only correct mistakes, actively give praise as well

I need a fic where Danny’s the ghost king who moved to Gotham bcs of a bad reveal with his parents or for job opportunities or whatever and Gotham’s the only place with enough ectoplasm to sustain him.

Anyways, Joker has died and brought back to life more time than is healthy tbh and is def somewhat liminal.

Danny knows this, and he also knows that as Ghost King he can command spirits or liminal to do something and they have to do it.

So when Joker breaks out of Arkham and kidnaps Tim Drake (cuz why not) and is recording live, Danny Fenton (not Phantom) just strolls into the warehouse they’re in with a rolled up newspaper in one hand and smacks the Joker on the top of his head.

“Get back to your cell in Arkham, Jack, let the poor guy go,”

Danny refuses to call him “Joker” that’s a stupid ass name—at least Vlad was creative!

To everyone’s shock, Joker’s face just scrunches up angrily but eventually unties Tim Drake and then marches himself back to Arkham.

This happens every time he breaks out.

Joker plans to release his laughing gas?

“Jack, clean up this mess and go back to your cell,”

Kidnaps another Wayne kid?

“Leave the kids alone, Napier, go turn yourself into Gordon,”

He kidnaps Bruce Wayne?

“Will you stop the kidnapping, Jack? Go back to Arkham,”

And every damn time Danny just needs to swat him on the head with a newspaper and he does it.

Every. Single. Time.

Eventually Batman corners Danny, trying to figure out who he is and why the hell the Joker listens to him

Danny just shrugs and goes, “Have you tried hitting him over the head with a rolled up newspaper? It’s worked for me so far,”

It gets even better when Danny catches Joker escaping Arkham and makes him go to Crime Alley to apologize to the Red Hood for murdering him and even made him say “robin is magical”

Batman is confused. Gotham is amused. Joker is annoyed. Jason’s in love. The rogues are terrified.

And Danny?

Danny sends a message to Mr Lancer to thank him for the idea of hitting entities with a rolled up newspaper (I.e box ghost)

Clark: Especially you since, y’know, you’re all fleshy and have no powers-

Bruce: You’re sounding like 300 pounds of pure bitch right now, Clark

Diana: Yes, Kal, live a little, please

Clark: Both of you are a danger to yourselves

Diana, offended: I think we bring out the best in each other

Diana: Now, are you going to start the heavy-duty artillery so we can test our dodging capabilities or what?

Clark: No-

Bruce, basically whining: Oh my goshhhhh

Bruce: If I knew you’d be like this, I would’ve invited literally anyone else

Clark, stressed: Anyone else would've put a stop to this already

Diana: I think I’m fast enough to turn it on and get into position on time

Clark, annoyed: Holy shit, fine!

And Grace falls for it every damn time. He tries to help of course. Turned down the UV settings in the dome but Simon complained that it just wasnt the same. Asked the eridians to make a spray sunscreen and either Simon or a meddling Adrian said the experiment failed or Simon purposefully sprays it on wrong and renders it useless ("how did you miss the tops of your shoulders so bad?" "You try spraying your back with one slippery hand")

And you know Simon is super methodical when he applies Grace's. Takes his time rubbing it on. Makes sure he gets everywhere including under the waistband and around the sides. Grace always beats him to the front though... Simon sometimes puts extra on Grace's cheeks if he's blushing just to tease him ("you're already turning red")

And you know Grace would be absolutely deceased in a fem!Simon au. She'd make Grace tie her swimsuit top on every time. And you have to put sunscreen under the straps because if they move you burn there. So you have to get your hand under the straps. Idk if she'd go skimpy but she'd certainly go stringy just so she could use the excuse of only having one arm to get Grace to tie it for her

As soon as the pearly gates close he'll come back and ask them to be open again
