I just wish there was a better platform for something similar to it. I like doing art trades a lot but its SUPER HARD to find anyone willing to do it nowadays on most social media, and theres a lot of scamming and ghosting, at least AF gives you an outlet and excuse to actually participate in a trade because its very public.

Also sometimes for me personally, I like being able to browse people's characters and be able to pick and draw them because it helps me diversifiy my art. But also reduces a lot of anxiety just drawing someone's OC for fun without having to worry if they'll be upset with you for randomly drawing their character. Since some people are uncomfortable with stuff like that.

What’s the origin of your blog name?

I've had like a million different aliases and usernames over the years, this blog I have now has changed 3 times. SolarPluto - then Farscythe - now its L1gun

I'll explain the most recent - I came up with the username because at first I was gonna make my handle like a Pokémon but spelled with numbers like L4t1as or something. Then my brain also kept thinking of the word "Laguna" for some unknown reason?? And then a few typos later I got L1gun. And I liked the way it looked lol. idk how its pronounced but its whatever. Most people think its like the "L1" button on a controller and "gun".

Lo Mein noodles are my life.

I abuse the hell out of the 😭 and 😂 like a basic bitch, I also use eyes emoji a lot too 👀 - and a lot of custom discord emotes

What’s your current comfort show/movie/book?

I don't have a current one, often times I will go back to specific episodes of shows that are like really comforting for me. But to name a few - when I'm feeling really depressed and need to turn my brain off I watch shows like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Boondocks

If we are talking like a series - one that I was absolutely nuts over for a while, I'd say Earthbound/Mother - of course that was a while ago and I didn't post anything about it on this blog.

But I just fixate a lot on my OCs - currently my lizard man character, Sydney :3

What’s an oddly specific thing that brings you joy?

I love like, crudely drawn little dudes?? If that makes sense? Like for example I saw a drawing on here recently of a little shrimp that someone made, and it made me squeal like I was so overjoyed looking at it. Here's the post:

and just things similar to that in general. I love things that have the ditto face, I love like, goofy looking stick figures and whatnot. etc.

What’s a smell that never fails to make you happy?

I love things that smell kinda soapy? It's hard to explain, my go-to candle scents are always things like "Fresh Linen" and "Cashmere and Sandalwood" or "Garden Rain" "Ocean Breeze" - things that smell "clean" i guess? I like the powerful smell of laundry detergent in laundry rooms and such.

What’s your current phone wallpaper?

My lockscreen is some kind of anthro canine furry with a transparent body and its bones are blue. My regular wallpaper is a pic of Beatrice from Over the Garden Wall holding a gun lmao

Are you a morning person, night owl, or something else entirely?

I'm like, an evening person? I'm the most awake feeling between like 5-8pm. I have a full time job so I have to wake up early every morning but i hate it, and I cannot stay up very late I start to crash at like 10pm lol

If you work, what is your work profession?

I put the fruits and veggies and raw meat on the Walmart shelf, it's pain but it pays and keeps a roof over my head for the time being until I can move up in life... hopefully.
