just got let go from my job - dunno what to do!!!!
🧿 so it looks like i have few choices left but to make a donation/mutual aid post. i would appreciate any support, whether that's a single dollar/euro/pound, or a reblog!!
i started a new job three months ago and had been receiving really good feedback on my performance at each monthly review, and was confident I would pass my probation (6 months here in the UK), but my manager quietly put in a meeting in my calendar on friday 24th July at 2pm - i was unceremoniously let go, without any explanation.
im actively applying to jobs, but half of the house bills fall to me, as I live with my parents who are getting close to retirement.
i am setting my goal to a couple of months of bills, as I don't want my parents to have to pick up any extra shifts, and will delete this post the second I get a job, but there's not much else I can do until then.
i would appreciate if you could share this and donate what you can - im so grateful to have so many kind and understanding mutuals who have helped me in the past!! 🧿
