This is the only comedy sketch that doesn’t make fun of women and their period. It try’s to make you relies how weird and annoying periods really are. That’s really refreshing

The thing to remember is you had the surgery to lead a happy and full life. It is a long term commitment and although eating healthy is wonderful and you should make healthy choices, there are alot of things out there that can be good and good for you. It's ok to have a square of chocolate once a month or steal one fry of a friend plate. I have lost 70 pounds and still have 150 to go so I understand the fear of "messing up". In those times I just have to remember this was for my total health and if I drive myself mentally insane trying to be smaller, I'm still not healthy.

The year is 2015, and you still have to explain to adult men AND women that there’s no such thing as a “tight” or “loose” vagina, because it’s a muscle that expands and contracts depending on a variety of reasons. Or that a woman does not pee out of her vagina. Or that reaching an orgasm during sexual assault does not mean the person enjoyed it. Or that abortion is not the destruction of a fetus, but is of a clump of cells. That the length of a penis has NO relevance to the ability to preform well sexually, since the average vagina is only 3-4 inches long. That pubic hair is not unsanitary or gross, it actually helps protect the sex organs against bacteria, and shaving actually increases chance of infection, abscesses and rashes. But no, we don’t need comprehensive sex ed in America, we’re doing fine!

#GrowingUpFat in the 80s/90s meant that your options were The Avenue, Dress Barn, and Lane Bryant. There was no ModCloth. There was no internet. The Avenue was like legit suits and shit. Dress Barn you’re not gonna wear because fucking ‘barn’ is right in the fucking name. And Lane Bryant wasn’t all fucking cute back then, either. Growing up fat in the 80s/90s literally meant never participating in ANY trends, unless it was an accessory that fit everyone, or something my saint of a mother could make for me. It meant never dressing as the person I’d like to be, but rather whatever I was ‘lucky’ enough to fit into. People are still the same…. people are still shit. But at least the clothes are better.

Growing up fat AND poor meant your clothes were made at home.
