To Kill a King is about rice and its major role in the community: the base of every meal, a source of income, a link to multiple cultures, but it also has become a tool of oppression. This piece is about the irony of an agricultural country populated by farmers who are enslaved and overworked by the powerful.

If a community is connected through food, then why do the powerful oppress the poor who grow their rice?
