The Knife

This is The Knife at the icelandairwaves music festival. The Knife claims it is their very last concert ever. Let's hope not!

This is a CAD model of Kúla Deeper. The device is for 3D photography with SLR camera. It is made of black ABS plastic and has four high precision first surface mirrors to project the left and the rigth perspectives side-by-side into the camera lens.

The sphere is our logo. A sphere is called "kúla" in Icelandic and many eastern-European languages. And Kúla is always 3 dimensional, otherwise it would be a circle.

The button is for attaching the device to the camera lens in one click. It uses the filter thread of the camera lens which amazingly is standardised across lens types. That makes it super easy to switch between normal and 3D photography.

This device will be celebrating it's existence in January 2015 where we expect the first batch of production to be shipped to our awesome Kickstarter backers. It might also enter your nearest camera store.
