So true. And, to those "what Lapis has done is the only way to help Steven and CGs to get rid of Jasper so Lapis did nothing wrong" shit, I’m telling you that I'm totally fine if Lapis just used her power to poof Jasper in Jailbreak. Nice and neat and fast. She can no doubt do it, it’s been proved in Alone at Sea that she can broke a fucking boat with a single punch. Even when she was cracked, she still has the power to take the entire ocean away and make a tower with it. Just poof it, I’ll appreciate that very much. But instead of this, Lapis chose to imprison Jasper under water for months, meanwhile taking out on her. That’s cruel, unnecessary, and what so called TORTURE. Not fucking protecting friends from some sort of “evil villian”. Hell, it could’ve been better even if she just stood there and refused to fuse. Jasper was out numbered by the time. In fact, though Lapis took “I do this for you” as an excuse for her abusive behavior in Chille Tid, she actually wasn’t helping. At all. All she did is help create a ticking-time-bomb-fusion, and as the fusion, eat a bunch of watermelon stevens and make earthquakes.

I think Jasper has already been mentally unstable before she fuse with the corrupted gem, too. Fusing with the corrupted gem is kind of like, a trigger? Otherwise the whole thing can’t happen, since fusion only happens when gems are perfectly synchronized, both physically and mentally. And whe all know that a corrupted gem’s mind is…corrupted. That brings me to the sad part when Jasper succeed in fusing. I literally cried.
