It doesn't even matter that he is canonically a hottie by Hellian/Helling standards to Me (although it is funny) but he is just so [gesticulates wildly like a woman possessed].

De-facto ruler with a codependent (read: all but canonically gay) relationship to his monarch, chessmaster who has been playing everyone like a fiddle for decades (smart, to a fault perhaps), orchestrates his own downfall + succumbs to hubris via the deadliest fuckyouandyourhopesanddreams virus right when he was closest to victory (tragic, yet also hilarious given the irony and how horrible he is) - I guess this and the fact that he's a villain would make for a good sexyman for the villain enthusiasts in a larger fandom.

As for myself and me lobbying for Friftar, it's because I am a victim of his and should file for financial compensation in, uh, the Netherworldian ministry of justice or something like that. I personally have been obsessed with this guy for very close to ten years, at some point it counts as a marriage with an approaching tin anniversary, and I can't explain why it is Friftar out of all the people in this entire series who became the chosen one for me to crush on like a teenager, good GOD I MEAN, to receive my genuine affections that are so intense sometimes, I get embarrassed by it, but I fell for his siren-like weird evil sexyman charm and I am not the only one, I know it for a fact!!!!!

Along with being a cunning sly chessmaster with an attractive intelligence level, he has absolute cringefail energy too with how he gets sometimes (always) TOO confident of his smarts and gets humbled (like the scene where he is reduced to an apologizing loser after Harra's death), which only adds to his babygirl appeal. I remember already as a teen feeling something AWAKENING when I saw his illustration for the first time. Killer goth makeup and killer robe. Somehow he is able to rock in a successfully stylish manner that yeeyee ass hairstyle. Also why do you have dark shadows under your eyes, sir? Why are you not getting enough sleep???
