Jongdae knew exactly what kind of image he upheld–  And the Hairspray/Iron incident didn’t faze him one way or the other. Maybe the weird style that everyone of the stylists had when going to a show kind of did it– But that’s only due to the fact he just didn’t get it. While others saw art, he saw a haircut that was probably done by Edward Scissorhands. It just wasn’t a good idea to bring Kris down with his comments. That’s exactly why Chen never invited the elder to join him for the orchestral shows he see, or the conventions where the brightest composer minds of that day would come together. 

Regardless of feeling somewhat disappointed at the other’s answer, the elder shrugged it off, realizing that of course he was right - they had done this plenty of times already.  The longest the elder had been gone was over three weeks, and he was thankful that he wouldn’t have to do that again anytime soon - especially with the way that things had changed between the two.  Sighing lightly, Kris ran a hand through his own hair as he flashed Jongdae a grin.

Kris couldn’t help but laugh as he listened to Jongdae’s protests; it was true, the other had more often than not expressed his disinterest, or dislike, for the more avante garde work the elder did when he was out of town for a show. He understood of course - it wasn’t that uncommon of a reaction.  The only people that were excited by platform work were, well, other stylists.  “Okay well first of all, your hair isn’t boring, it’s nice - but I get it, I know how you feel about most of it.”
