VIZ Media has just announced they will re-publish the Detective Conan manga under its real title and with the original names!! The revamped volumes will be published as 3-in-1 editions, starting Spring 2027!!

Apparently, the reason why VIZ Media can finally re-publish Detective Conan under its real title is because the Robert E. Howard estate is falling into public domain in 2027, and therefore Conan the Barbarian doesn't hold copyright anymore.

While it seems completely absurd to copyright an actual surname, there is credence to that interpretation, as even Conan O'Brien had to pay the Robert E. Howard estate to keep the title of his show.

This goes to show copyright laws are often utter nonsense.

I cannot. Figure out this thing in this transcript:

I feel like I'm going cuckoo bananas. Right now I have it transcribed without the symbol as: "Well" arsa Colm leófa "Mur iasg sibh Go n-iascaidh sibh agus mad'iasg sibh har iasgaidh sibh án fhear a choíche"

But that doesn't make any senseeeeeeeee. I know the little '7' looking symbol between 'sibh' and 'ma' is transcribed as 'agus' so that's all set but I've got something majorly fucked up in here.

Most maddening is that this is a legend type I'm already studying so I'm 99% sure I know what it's saying but I have to be sure wah wah wah!!! It's ALSO possible I've mis-transcribed some of the other words, which could change things around. I'm finding this particular hand-writing tough for whatever reason.
