Okay I know we all like to imagine Nico as this smol little bean right who is always towered over by others.
But like.
We’ve always seen Nico as a 10-15 year old. Pre-growth spurt Nico. So just imagine Percy and Annabeth being gone from camp for six months because college, and then they come back.

unnatural things about the demigods
percy’s eyes are strikingly green, to the point where they look artificial and they fade if he hasn’t used his powers in a while but they are brighter when he’s using them
nico’s skin sometimes look transparent in the light, as if he’s not fully living (and maybe he’s not.)
fire ripples beneath leo’s skin, but you can only see it if you look closely. same with water on percy. their skin has an unnatural, almost liquid quality to it that comes from using their respective powers
annabeth sometimes goes into overdrive. she just can’t stop what she’s doing/researching, to the point where she freezes and/or passes out. her brain short circuits, it’s actually very dangerous and someone has to be with her at all times
children of aphrodite can literally pull off anything with no effort. they could wear trash and it would look good on them. they have an otherworldy quality to them that most can’t place. they don’t look like they’re from earth.
children of zeus/jupiter shock you every time they touch you. every time.
children of apollo literally glow in the dark. they give off a golden light that gets stronger the more they use their powers
basically you can tell the demigods aren’t fully human, especially the older and/or stronger ones. they just don’t look or seem like they’re fully human and mortals may not know what it is but they know something’s up

No. Instead, I always hc’ed that since her brain is so powerful, if she develops any powers it’d be telekinesis.
She also probably wont have as much trouble in school and can effortlessly pull of academia - sure, it’s hard with dyslexia and ADHD, but she’s so smart and have so much grit she’d still totally kill it, esp if it’s college and with a subject she likes
