Got book? Will travel! I always loved the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” Well, recently, I discovered that there’s a whole sisterhood of traveling books, too!

So, I did a thing.

I registered a copy of my novel, THE HINT OF LIGHT with bookcrossing.com & released it into the wild while on a trip in Hamilton, Bermuda!

It’s located at the Little Free Library at Wesley Methodist Church (location 117714): 41 Church Street Hamilton Bermuda

With any luck, a reader will “catch” the book, log it on the website, read, review, and then “release” it somewhere else in the wild.

In, fact, I hope it happens again & again & again.

I know I'm not alone when I say that I know and have loved several people whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer's. When my author-friend, Marcy McCreary, mentioned that she was organizing an online auction to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, I was in. As did many, many other authors. Thus was born the Mystery Lit Online Auction!

I love a good cause, and Alzheimer's is a disease that has touched more than one person close to me. So when suspense author, Marcy McReary, reached out to me about a literary fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, I didn't hesitate to jump right in and contribute a couple of items for the auction. As did dozens of other authors! The result is the Mystery Lit Online Auction.

For the next two weeks, you can bid on all sorts of literary goodness. Signed books, character names, query critiques, pages/chapter critiques, virtual book club visits, your dog/cat featured in a future book, conference passes, novel coaching, signed ARCs, and so much more...

Mysterypalooza: Author Panel with Sisters in Crime

The Central Virginia chapter of Sisters in Crime, in collaboration with Henrico County Public Library, is proud to present its Mysterypalooza author panel. Meet several contributing authors of the Crime in the Old Dominion mystery anthology. They will discuss their paths to publication: traditional, hybrid, indie, and short story publishing experience. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
