I enjoy reading and have been working on doing a lot more of it. It can be easy to plop down and binge on Netflix, which is great sometimes. But, I get turned on intellectually by learning, exploring my interests and understanding more of things that are a part of everyday life and things I have yet to discover. It is inspiring, as a writer to read and come across words unknown to you and write the definition down and make progress in expanding your vocabulary. I often feel like I’m not doing enough and this is because I know I have so much untapped creative, intellectual and impactful potential that I can use. I feel deeply that I am smart, unique and valuable; valuable as is the time that I have to live and the freedom I have to choose how most of my time is spent and how productive and proactive I can be. Part of me wants to create a name for myself that is occasioned with great achievements and effects on others and th world around me, in this day in age it can be easy to feel like you have to make yourself be heard and you are only valid if you have an audience and it’s not true. Because, we are works of art and the best things take time to curate. I spent a lot of time alone and that’s fine because often we waste time on people who may have bad intentions, aren’t genuine and maybe aren’t as motivated as we are to aspire to achieve and get more out of life. My sister once told me that I’ve chosen the wrong crowd for a long time, the people who are loud, funny, make themselves known, who may even be like sociably and have a lot of “fun”, I realized she was right because I have many memories from Houston and many different faces in each one, but the faces & people who have been consistent throughout my life and changes are the ones that are worth the most to me and truly have the best interest in my life. So I have chose as a part of my self care routine to be picky with who & what I provide my time & efforts to because I know that to me a priority is to grow and be the absolute best version of myself, for ME, because I CAN, regardless of external recognition I can become stronger, more powerful, happy & fulfilled & lead a great life & achieve badassery

For one, anyone who wants to shame photos like this, get over it. It’s a body. Its 2018. It’s the same as a swim suit. I don’t care I want to raise awareness.
