Uhm... so quick question... guys... uhm so remember in ep 6 of vsmp... when Avid's ears were ringing... and his vision got darker.... much to similar to what happened in ep 4-5 because of... well... demon curse...?
And than imediatly after he had the change of the century, when he got level 2 and started batting and saying he wants to kill everyone....
The fact this happened in quite a stressful situation, with him believing he wasn't safe in town and in the castle, while being peer presured by the vampires (*cough* scott *cough*) into coming to their side... the fact Avid was so desperate to seem trustworthy to them, in fear of being rejected or worse killed (when have I ever heard that before...)
Theory, that honestly feels more like an observation I just personally haven't heard much of before, Avid's wound was healed by vampirism, but the curse was not! If anything vampirism made some aspects of the curse less noticeable, like the hunger beeing overshadowed by vampiric bloodlust, or just made it worse... in particullar with Avid's manic episodes... and... if I am right... (I have not watched his ep 7 btw) ... then ... he was having a manic episode from this moment all the way until he died... so... even if he survived... could he have gotten better? Could Shelby and Drift keep him in check?... I still don't think death was the only answer though... even if he couldn't find the cure... I'm not sure...

One thing is for sure, this has made me think a bit about the... uhm... Aviscott in the room... and I have thoughts, I've had thoughts since watching Scott's pov but uhm.... yea... I'll probably wait to watch Avid's ep7 before I share them... cuz... I'm gonna need some courage you know? Sadly I relate to Drift a bit to much when it comes to.... well... opinions...
the way avid cuts things never fails to intrigue me because. the cuts could easily just be time savers. we already know he killed elle in his pov. it's at the start of most episodes. but I also like how him talking about how elle died is a little different every time that I can remember
he explains it two more times (iirc) in session 4, and to doc he says pretty much the same thing as to drift, but he doesn't leave out either detail (that elle attacked him and he killed her)
shelby gets something with a little less clarity
he does the opposite to his line to shelby than what he does in the drift conversation - he cuts the "she attacked me" and leaves the "only one of us came out of there alive."
the final bit I remember avid talking about elle dying (might be more. it's been a while since I watched his full pov) he gives the details in reverse order. I killed her (because) she attacked me. and he doesn't cut either part of this from his pov
idk I don't really have a point I just think it's interesting what avid leaves out of his pov and how it could point to his grief and guilt
