Sof: You’re allowed to be the softest, sappiest person in the whole entire world. You deserve it, baby. I enjoyed all of it! Binged it in two days. I couldn’t stay away from Jordan’s hairstyle and dumb jock vibes. Also you were the perfect Alaska Young. The show hasn’t distracted our trip, I promise.

Sof: I will! We’ll be sure to visit you ASAP. Where in the world are you? Maybe you could come to my place for dinner or we could all go out and do something together! ILYSMM.

Kris: I'm so glad that you enjoyed it, and that it DIDN'T distract from your trip smh. I feel so much better knowing that, you're honestly making all the nerves I had left drift away right now.

I’m dying to see TS4 and hoping it’s on the plane I’m boarding tomorrow, because I totally regret not seeing it on the big screen – although maybe I spared the people around me my sobbing? 

All I have to say about it is that a spork has never made me so happy. 

Can you just become my personal baker? Is that too much to ask?

That might be asking just a little bit too much of me, Tom. I’m a busy girl. 

Has your anxiety settled down a little yet, Kris? Now that the show’s actually out there in the world, and you know what? I’m hearing nothing but good things. I’m pumped it’s going down well. But also, always yes to the Halloween treats. I’ve missed your baked goods. Bring ‘em over here. 

Oh, it’s almost completely gone now. The show is out for the world to see and people are already saying how wonderful it is, and how much they’re enjoying it, which is really all that I wanted in the first place. Seriously. I’m starting to understand why my Mom used to stress bake during the holidays so much when I was a little kid. It’s a good distraction and free cookies make people love you.  

First of all, those chocolate dipped pretzels sound amazing. So I’ll take them off your hands in any capacity that I can. Second of all, I totally understand how you feel. Sometimes staying busy is better than letting it all kind of sit in and stew, you know? What are you releasing?

Those were the hardest thing to make because they started to look kinda funky, but I finally got the hang of it and just ate the ones that looked weird, anyone I’m super proud of them and am happy to share with you. Looking For Alaska is releasing on Hulu and I’m afraid of how the fans of the book are gonna take to it.

You just became my best friend. Anyone offering free baked treats is automatically deemed friend status in my book. Sugar cookies and rice krispy treats with Halloween decorations on ‘em? I’m in heaven. Thank god I’m not diabetic, otherwise I’d be in a sugar coma.

I’m always accepting positions for new best friends so this is perfectly fine with me. I don’t want to call myself the plug for sugar coma fuel but whenever I’m feeling stressed I’m definitely stocked up on baked goods. I mean if there was something else you wanted specifically I could always make it for you, just for fun. I was thinking of doing brownies with icing on them to make them look spooky, I’ve also god a bunch of those candy eyeballs left over that I need to do something with. 

Oh my god, I had forgotten When She Loved Me. I think I blocked it out. I know I blocked it out. Anything Sarah McLachlan needs to be immediately removed from my short and long term memory because it’s too. damn. much.

That shit hurted. I just watched Toy Story 4 for the first time the other night and let me tell you something, that shit also hurted. I cried for the last ten minutes or something, there’s something about Disney movies that triggers something inside me. 

Silent disco, we’ve gotta go there once, love, please?! It fascinates me, like not sharing the moment with anybody but at the same time, sharing it with everybody? It’s just so interesting. Those are all great ideas. How are you, Kristine? Years since I’ve last spoken to you!

I mean if you’re inviting me there’s no way that I’m gonna say no. It has been a long time, but also the right time to reunite, right? I’ve been doing good, been throwing myself into work and keeping busy. How’ve you been doing lately, Lucy? 

Sof: BABE. It's out in the world and you're A STAR. I mean, we already knew that you were a star, but seriously. Nothing but love and respect for /my/ Alaska Young.

Sof: I was all ready to celebrate the crap out of you and Jordy and then he whisked me away on a surprise London trip the day before the show came out. What am I going to do with him? We'll see you when we get back though, okay? I miss you.

Kris: I don't want to be the softest, sappiest person in the whole entire world but that just made me tear up a little bit. I'm so sooo glad that you're enjoying it so far, but promise not to let the show distract the two of you from enjoying yourselves in London.

That sounds like so much fun! Baking is the best way to distract yourself from your thoughts. If you were in LA, I’d scoop those all up and just have to hide them from my trainer.

I actually am living in Los Angeles at the moment. So if you decide you want to stick it to your trainer you can stop by and I’ll load you up on some sugary sweetness. 

What’s coming up for you, Froseth? I wanna take a wild guess and say Looking For Alaska? I remember seeing ads for it when I was watching some things on Hulu the other night. Does excitement trump nervousness for you? Or do the nerves usually outweigh the excitement of it all? I know I get like this m’self when a film or project I’ve worked hard on is in the post-preduction, close to release phase.

Look at you out here making wild accurate guesses. Oh, I’m glad they’re doing their job and promoting it to the right audience. I’d definitely say that it does, but there’s always some level of anxiety for me no matter what the release is. I always relate it back to the anxiety I’d get when I was doing runway shows, before I’d step out onto the runway I’d feel so close to like throwing up or crying, but the second I got out there I would be fine and my mood would change instantly from scared to proud. It’s the same for me now with shows and movies. 

Okay umm… these all sound extremely delicious, and I would like all of them, please.

I mean you said please.. I’d be happy to share with you, give me your honest opinions on everything. How’s the recipe? Are they too sweet? How do they look?

What is it that’s releasing soon? Best of luck with it, I’m sure it is going to be amazing. I get that, too, though, I think it’s worse after you filmed everything so long ago that you can barely register what the final outcome will be like, but at least you’ve found a way to keep yourself busy, and it certainly sounds like a good use of your time. I’m always down for some Halloween treats but I’m stuck in Atlanta filming at the moment.

It’s a brand new limited series that I’m in is uploading onto Hulu, it’s called Looking For Alaska, it’s based on the novel by John Green. Thank you, I’m hopeful that all of the diehard fans of the book series like it, that’s my biggest anxiety. I’ve been keeping myself preoccupied to the best of my ability, building pinterest boards of all the food and treats I want to bake has been my savior this week. What’re you filming out in Atlanta? 

It’s not all that long now ‘til Halloween, and I’m just sat here thinking about what people are probably gonna be dressed up as this year. I feel like there’s suddenly gonna be a lot of people dressing as Joaquin’s Joker. What other iconic looks do you think will be popular? Marvel characters kinda go without saying, at this point. And has anybody got their costume planned yet? I think I might just re-use the one from the trip costume party because I lack creativity. @hollywoodland-hqs

I bet we’ll see a lot of Joker’s and Harley Quinn costumes since the Birds Of Prey movie is coming out soon. I’m also predicting there will be a bunch of people dressed up Steve and Robin from Stranger Things, and there will be a handful of Pennywise’s too. Want to be there’s probably going to be people painting themselves purple and calling themselves Thanos too. I have on idea in mind for my costume but it’s a little bit out there, and I’m not completely sure if it’s what I’m doing yet. Have you seen the movie Midsommar? There’s this girl in that movie who wears a dress made out of flowers and yeah, I want to do that. 

sooooofia ily. i’m excited beyond words really because the first two episodes will be out in the next couple of hours. seeing all the hard work that everyone put into it is going to be super uplifting and incredible, and i can’t wait. i wish you were here to watch the episodes with me.
