Is It 'Too Trivial' For Complex Geopolitical Stories To Use The Same Techniques As For Horses That Look Like Miley Cyrus?
Attention & engagement with content alone may cause dismay but are obviously not enough to make a reader act. In relation to Bell's belief that there is currently no way to see the correlation, having in-depth reports relating to geo-political violence broadcasted on news outlets that apeal to a large-scale of people, is nonetheless a great contributor to democratic participation and a potential uprising in reform where needed. Digital news outlets are a start that is necessary to developing a method for covering significant stories, one that will align with societies technological appeal . As real and horrifying some of the news is in it's raw form, it's potrayal needs to further adapt to societies emerging fondness for entertainment. With respect to the crisis in Ukraine, news is not to be entertaining but aspects of the way it is portrayed need to be altered, going beyond traditional forms of communicating rhetorically i.e words.
Aspects of a stories potrayal is important to the way a reader absrobs it, but I think the platform it's on plays a big part, as I mentioned. As evident with Twitter's influence on the Arab Spring, Twitter's seemless capability to enable people to influence one another demonstrates the siginificance of relatability in news appeal. A single piece of information can be "retweeted" by the masses, evidently acknowledged across the world, reflecting peoples' interest. Now if only Twitter had an additional option to "perform", because clearly a chain reaction comes from somewhere.
These tips can help you get around perceived barriers to growth, starting with the notion you need to build a website now

The signs of decline that reflect an emerging 'dead end'
We as a society are impending the Dark Age in multiple ways according to Jane Jacobs. The two reasons I found most profound are regarding family & education. For one, North American families hope to make it further& further up the income ladder, intertwining community(external forces) & family, making the two concepts inseparable. Rome’s famous Dark Age also coincided with people needing strong communities to create comfort & ‘security’ for the many people experiencing unprecedented circumstances, and to help individuals and families adapt and adjust to civilizations.
Another one of the many ways a Dark Age is emerging is through North American universities promising credentials rather than education, as it has become their business. There is a barrier to cultural development of the west formed by canned and preserved knowledge. Ultimately, society is deteriorating because nurturing and education is deteriorating, having most of the intellectual and other advantages recede to the elite.
Technical skills and knowledge were once king in the workplace, but creativity and imagination will rule in the future, says Lisa Bodell.
So, how do you feel moving from an economy and a society built on the logical, linear, computer-like capabilities of the Information Age to an economy and a society built on the inventive, empathic, big-picture capabilities of what’s rising in its place ?

The Ideal Classroom of The Future.. Both Virtual, & Real!
I think the ideal classroom of the future would not be virtual. As convenient as it may be to save yourself from commuting to school or simply getting out of bed for an 8am lecture, I believe the struggle is particularly what makes one respect the system, rather than becoming completely nonchalant about the process of learning. Yes, we need to prove ourselves in order to get a diploma but learning is wonderful thing that is taken for granted once a person feels that education is oppressive Thus, an ideal classroom in the future would fully engage students through technological means, as it would be hard to omit technology, but I would suggest an exercises in the beginning of every class to help our psychological state to ultimately take in information better. This exercise would reflect meditation but doesn't necessarily have to be relaxing rather enhances one's mind so that they are sharp with their thinking, responsive, & aware. I think this would be very beneficial in the future considering there are only going to be more distractions emerging, something that current fundamental teaching methods will need to adapt to as such a matter is rapidly proceeding.

Every day you are presented lessons through life, random excerpts you catch from the tv in the next room, the doodle you draw, or the birds outside your window. Don’t be too absorbed into bending reality to your will to the point of missing the signs the outside world or universe is giving you.

Social Media Giving Rise to Beneficial Participatory Citizenship!
I think Social Media has definitely given rise to 'beneficial' participatory citizenship in the sense that everyone is opinionated one way or another about most things, its only a matter of people becoming aware of issues that arise, which is ultimately what Social Media does. Websites such as Twitter enable & encourage consistency in communication from different parts of the world, whether between individuals seas apart or one house. Social Media makes each user equal to the other because each person is just one online entity, yet when we come together through online means such as "groups", every individual matters because it makes the awareness that much meaningful & stronger. As single online entities, we may not mean much, but we become whole when coming together With regards to an example given in class, the forbidding of online discussion through Social Media forms about the news in certain countries makes Social Medias influence on society evident by showing that Social Media emphasizes peoples' willingness to make a change to society so it is served well through an accommodating & civil system.
However I think the real question is how people apply that online participation to the "real" world. There is not much use to expressing one's desire about political phenomena if it's only being verbalized & not enacted. Social Media has definitely given rise to activism but I dont believe that it's currently the underlying reason for any reform.
