Halo needs to understand, desperately, that not everything should be canon. Yes I am talking about Halo Legends.
We can have hype moments and aura the short film collection without it being canon I swear to god. This also applies to shit like commercial for the love of god halo you do not need to canonize every well produced commercial, if they got people to buy the game it did its job. You don’t need to reward that further.
Halo is both a large corporate IP, and a strangely personally mismanaged one(Frank O Connor). Lucasarts in the 90s-00s organized their shit better and George Lucas didn’t give a fuck about most of those created works
