my self ships vs. my yapping
he loves it when i yap i swear. he may not seem like the type of guy who wants to listen to his partner yap but he will take time before we sleep at the end of each day to listen to me yap and rant. i lean against him in bed and play with his hands and just talk at him until i'm satisfied, and he's perfectly content with our routine. if we need to wake up early the next day, he'll say we need to get in bed earlier for my "yap time." it's the norm for us atp but if anyone else hears us in public theyve definitely given us strange looks lmfao.
he will get so excited about it with me. "omg kou!!!!" "what???what??!" he'll want to know everything, and if i don't yap at him that day he'll assume something's wrong. he doesn't push though, he'll just yap instead. half of the time, we'll yap together. there's a lot of interrupting, even we don't know how we understand each other we just do. it's like having 3 text convos w the same person in different apps (which we do more often than youd think).
he loveeeesss listening to me speak. if i know he's home, the second i open that door i immediately start talking, and he makes his way over to listen to me. he greets me with a forehead kiss, and sometimes food, and quietly listens as i talk. it sort of reverses if he gets home later than normal. i'll greet him and he'll yap and then i'll yap. sometimes if we get too excited we interrupt each other, but normally we're good at waiting our turn.
he 100% yaps with me we are not productive yappers. we are loud and incoherent, and if we're out in public or with friends everyone around us just despises us. you cannot take us anywhere. very rarely though he'll just want to listen to me talk in the comfort of our home.
HE LOVES WHEN I YAP I PROMISE. he will not say a word or acknowledge that he's listening but he will definitely give me his undivided attention. he will mindlessly scroll his phone while listening to me, missing everything that he's scrolling.
i usually yap at him while he's working on something in the lab, and he'll often pretend he's only half listening, just to mess with me, but he listens to every word i say. i know it too i don't know why i always believe him when he's like "what'd you say? i was calculating." he's a jerk. no guys he cares about me i promise 😭
me and him will yap together while he's steering the ship mostly. he enjoys the company, and the usually it's me yapping, but he'll join in sometimes. he is very attentive listening to me. he remembers everything i tell him too. if i say i want something he'll make sure i have it. if i say my day wasn't so good, he'll make sure to give me extra cuddles when we go to sleep. he's so perfect and so good at keeping me happy.
