Hereās a #blackout post for all of you. This is Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson, a fallen hero. He was in a GameStop buying a game for his 9 year old son when two men came in and announced a robbery yesterday afternoon. Upon noticing a cop was in the store, they shot him multiple times, once in the head. Officer Wilson leaves behind a 1 year old and a 9 year old. He was one of the first officers in the city to volunteer for the pilot program to wear body cameras on duty. This man was a true hero, and it sickens me that none of you on here give a damn. You call that social justice? This man gave everything, may his sacrifice never be forgotten.
Whereās the outrage tumblr? Wheres the protests? Itās amazing how silent it gets on here when a cop is murdered for no reason but trying to stop an armed robbery while shopping for his son. Iām sick to my stomach over the lack of attention towards this.
Robert Wilson was inside the store when the burglars came in.Ā They did not see him, but Wilson announced his presenceĀ to draw fire away from customers and store employees. He directly saved several lives while losing his.
