something something something kon realizing after he finally gets away from the people in hawai'i how awful they are and he starts spiraling bc he didnt let himself believe that it was that bad "and i still loved them but they hurt me a lot" and he doesnt get any closure bc theyre dead or he doesnt talk to them anymore and hes kind of scared to ever see them again because he doesnt know how hed react or what theyd say to him but he also cant pretend that it didnt happen

i actually do think hawai'i is so incredibly important to kons story as much as it hurts me a lot but i get so sad and annoyed when i see someone make a comics continuity kon but then base his backstory off of yja or dont bring up hawaii/dub/roxy/r*x/t*na/kn*ckout/krypto at all seeing m'gann brought up as an abusive ex and not t*na and kn*ckout and i have to stay calm and cool and bite my tongue. im fine im fine im fine im fine
