How’d you like the latest arc you were on?

i will work hard.. i want to figure out some designs for them too beyond just silhouette and i think im settling on warrior mydei for sure or monk.. and then phainon i think i always like paladin for him but im gonna stick with drk just cuz of the big sword

i ended up feeling so sorry for yotsuyu and god i hated asahi so much djrkshg i always felt like his energy was sinister and then he pulled wol aside to be all evil.. HE DESERVED ALL DAT!!!!! and i felt so sad for gosetsu too bc he lost his daughter twice almost

i ended up meeting solus who is very dramatic and elidibus i think taking over zenos body?? i had no idea the garlean empire was founded by an ascian that was actually kind of really surprising.. taps chin. and then i was also very excited to see aymeric again interacting with hien as the leaders tried to figure out a parley with the empire

i think stormblood itself was a little weak story wise and also in lyse's contributions bc i think they were kind of setting her up to be a pivotal character in the expansion but she didn't do much sigh. it kind of felt like a side quest when we went to doma to help but i think the characters were strong enough for me to enjoy it a lot, i love the azim steppes and the au ra tribes im genuinely so happy i picked them as my race

and then right now i have officially reached.. shadowbringers title screen. i THINK the enigmatic figure is g'raha tia?? just based on the way he speaks and his.. involvement in the crystal tower which seems to be very important here so its nice to see him again i think. im lowkey swamped by final exams soon but im really excited

tbh not "actual" names persay but mydei's japanese name is modis so the jp fans combined modis + nui to call him monu モぬ

and its the same with phainon, its fanu/phanu ファぬ

take with a grain of salt but im pretty sure fanu and monu are coined by phaidei overseas fans specifically bc ive seen mostly solostans/fans of other ships involving the 2/yumes get mad at those nicknames and im not sure if more ppl will get mad though

also from playing ffxiv ive been thinking abt mmorpg players

meeting on an mmorpg leading to them talking abt meeting up after a while and instead of seeing a cute girl that matches the avatar he's been used to playing with, he gets beautiful tall muscular mydeimos strolling over and nodding at him at the cafe leading into a:

i just honestly cant believe that we got really japanese and chinese and mongolian during stormblood its kind of baffling to me but also i love the au ra in the stippes... lowkey might be one of my favorite parts of the msq in general, i think the environments in sb are very homely

kind of glad im playing an au ra while going through the trial mostly bc its kind of immersive too maybe itll serve as some wol lore or something i dunno.

been slacking a bit on msq bc of school but. starting stormblood and im running around with sidurgu rielle and myste now doing shit. sid is always just going through it.

boxer phainon and benefactor mydei au

i like the idea of phaidei being childhood friends but mydei is forced to drift away bc of his family's underground business but phainon takes it personally so he vows to get stronger and richer to take care of and be with mydei

this leads him to fighting in eurypons fighting ring to make money to try and impress mydei when they cross paths at school and it honestly kind of works but also weird mydei out bc where is a broke college student getting the money to give him gifts until eurypon takes

mydei to a championship match for a grand prize and he sees phainon in the ring. post-match mydei grabs phainon and yanks him outside to ask why he's there and if he knows what hes doing getting tangled with the people inside and phainon has no idea why mydeis so upset
