The power of the bacon

The muppet had mid-long white pristine hair and big stupid doey eyes that stared back at anyone who peered into its soul. It opened his mouth and closed it, just as the words slipped out.

“My big brother is amazing and I’m so glad he’s attentive and caring about my needs. I wouldn’t survive without him and that’s why I love him so so much!”, the muppet said.

All for One nodded back at the muppet.

“Ahhh, finally! I’m so glad we’ve come to an agreement, little brother. I knew you would understand.”

The muppet opened and closed his mouth several times.

“Of course I understand! Big brother is so smart! And kind, awesome, and the smartest person in the world! I love him a lot and only care about what he thinks and not society’s views on my actions which have a too strong influence on my hero complex!”

“It’s so good that you’re finally open-minded about this!”, All for One joyfully exclaimed back, finding bliss in the simple pleasures of life. “You are aware that you were putting yourself carelessly in danger for people who do not care about anything but themselves, hmmm?”

“Of course big brother, you were right all along and I’m so sorry for having faith in humanity as that is a stupid idealistic flawed viewpoint that only a child would have!”, the muppet said, as it moved its tiny arms with the movements All for One was making it do with the hand he had put in the muppet.

“Now that we’ve finally found a clear understanding of the situation, what do we do, my little adorable helpless brother?”, All for One asked to the muppet.

The muppet agitated its little arms as it began once more closing and opening its mouth, soulless eyes staring back at its holder.

“Whatever you want, ni-san! Big brother knows best! I want to listen to Big Brother!”, the muppet wisely said.

All for One chuckled affectionately to the inferior being.

“No, I insist, my endearing little sibling, what do you want to do? I care so much about you that I feel comfortable negotiating a deal that you would like. Of course we can come to an understanding, hm?” All for One asked.

The muppet shook with happiness as it began raising and lowering its little arms in excitation.

Its jaw fell open to say the only truth that could prevail.

“I only want to be safe in the vault, big brother! Because society is in a dangerous state of turmoil and I could die very stupidly very fast if I were left outside on my own devices! And I know that me dying would destroy my big brother, who cares so much about me and I don’t want him to hurt that way because the only thing that matters in life is family and I know that very well because I’m a caring little brother who knows that he shouldn’t argue with his only living relative left who has always done everything for my own good.”

All for One nodded along knowingly like a wise sitting Buddha who knew all matters and whatever was beyond them.

“Good, good”, All for One replied to the muppet, still staring back at him adoringly as it should be. “You are being so smart, I’m so proud, little brother. I’ll buy you that manga you like as a reward, hm?”

All for One turned to the crouching frail body lying on his side on the ground, his arms bound behind his back by strong ropes while a piece of clothe bound around his head was restricting his noisy, meddlesome mouth.

“I’m glad we’ve finally come to an understanding, my dearest little brother”, All for One ominously said, to the muppet, looking down on those hateful eyes that stared at him back with an emotion, that was, for a strange reason, nor adoration nor love.

All for One never doubts his status of best dad.

Never.

The walls were made of a dark grey stone, traces of black colouring them, as if charcoal always rained on the manor. He didn’t know whether they were the aftermath of a fire or simply the unique colouration of the dreaded stone that one villager had murmured him about between a beer of two in the inn, four towns away. There was no reason to fear a building material, Izuku thought. He was a scholar, even if a bit young, but he wasn’t superstitious.

Izuku stood in front of the immense dark wooden entrance, the door’s panels standing tall, far above him, a feeling of dread pressing through his veins.

He knocked on one of the two panels that were each five time his size; and without anyone pulling it, the doors slowly creaked open.

The hallway of the grand entrance was gargantuan, tall immobile statues staring down at him with their frozen eyes. It felt like the interior of a cathedral, if not for the darkness that seemed to sip in each corner, big blotches of black ink obscuring the entire space like they would on one of his parchments, often to his greatest despair.

“Hello?” he said in a poised voice, trying to sound as sure as himself as he possibly could. There was barely a glimmer of light coming through the tiny opening a wind had probably pushed open.

Silence answered.

He stepped forwards, ignoring the way the hair on his neck slowly started rising up, chills running down his spine.

“I’m- Midoriya Izuku”, he continued loudly, echoes answering him back, “is there anyone here?”

Was there anyone that was supposed to greet him?

Maybe he was being rude. Yep. He should have waited outside. Damn it.

He turned on his heels and walked towards the open door, two metres away from him.

Then the tall heavy panels of the door slammed close.

My good old friend had made this for me long ago for Fragrances of Bad Parenting , but I never ended up posting it until now. They implored me not to do it in my dms, so here it is! Aki said it was cringe and deserved to be burnt in flames by Satan, but I think it was very sweet and is a tastament to how long our friendship has lasted!
