Let’s Create!

For anatomy last week, we had the homework of drawing the forearm and hands. We also did a speculative piece where we had to draw the skeleton of a sculpture (specifically the hands)

For our live drawing, we once again had to draw the skeleton.

Materials:

Homework and speculative- drawing paper, graphite pencils and erasers.

For anatomy, we had homework where we had to draw the arm and label it. We mainly focused on the scapula, as it is a honey land mark.

In class we redid a drawing and imagined what the skeleton of it would look like, and we also did a live drawing with a skeleton as well.

Some studies from anatomy! 5 were homework, and only the pelvis one is a life drawing.

The homework was to recreate to the best of your ability a skull front and side, and the other homework assignment was to draw the spine as the ribcage (front and back)

I now have two bones I hate the most.

I finally finished my fic, so here’s the wedding fits!

It was also an experiment to try an oil painting look, and I’m mad it worked.

My century vase for ceramics finally came out of the kiln! I actually really like how this came out. The project was we had to make a vase with the same silhouette as the original century vase. We were allowed to add on other things to the vase, it was just required that we add handles. It had to have a theme, mine was music.

For Intro to game development we had to make achievements for a fake game, following the art style (sort of) of a pre existing game.

Today in ceramics we were told to just start playing with the clay to get used to working with it. I made some little dudes, a dice, and a ball so that I can roll on texture.

This particular clay is a lowfire clay meaning it dries quick however so it was a bit of a learning curve.

Today in 2d game design we started concepts for an endless runner game (ie subway surfers or similar), we had too make 5 concepts and I made a more realized version of the fat cat concepts.

Today in research and inquiry, I completed another page! Today I did 701, or as I like to call it a more bloody version of the Macbeth curses.

Today in intro to drawing we did two drawings and reviewed our homework. The first drawing took around 45 minutes , and were given tools. The point of this was to think about mark making and negative space. The second was a silhouette drawing. We were told to crop it to our choosing and black it out leaving to separation of form. We had around 45 minutes.

The homework took around a week and a half. We were told to draw a self portrait that included hands and the majority of the face. We could use any traditional drawing material to do this.

Materials:

Tools: high quality white paper, ink, and colored charcoal.

Silhouette: high quality white paper, and ink

I got two pages done today! I got 682 and patchwork bear! I’m proud because I hustled today.
