In your opinion, what would it take to save New Doom? I mean it can still be a good single player game like Wolfenstein: TNO or reboot Shadow Warrior. Then again Bethesda/Id have not exactly inspired much confidence lately.

>decently fast movement speed>weapons that actually do some damage and feel like they’re doing damage>ability to have more than 10 monsters on-screen at the same time>level design that hits sweet spot between “too linear” and “too maze-like”

that’s it, that’s literally all they have to do

from what we’ve seen from the preview videos, new Doom hits none of these points
