Junmyeon felt hollow. His wounds had been tended, but his body still stung with the memory of the onslaught of violence that he had lead. A shudder slipped down his skin and he felt his fists tighten only to then release as his muscles sagged, and his body bent back into his seat. He lifted his eyes to the two men sat in front of him, seated around the table in his office.

The Council-led army had retreated from the shores of Y/N’s citadel, and for now the ceasefire continued, so Junmyeon had returned home. He had refused to see the Queen, despite her insistence, and instead he was sat in his underwater office with Taemin and Jongin. A myriad of thoughts were churning in his mind, but mostly he was tired. Tired deep into his bones, tired in his heart. For a moment Junmyeon considered if he would ever feel the same as he did before all of this. Perhaps not, he thought, but he also wondered if really deserved to feel calm again.

Junmyeon met the gazes of the men before him, first Jongin and then Taemin. He took a deep breath, but when he spoke his voice was steady.

In those almost 4 years so much stuff had happened in my life, i lost so many important people, i met many wonderful ones, there was moments i was so lost that i had to grasp into anything that bring me a little bit of joy to keep going through those dark times.

This week i was making a cleaning up on my phone’s notes and i found a list of exo fics that i was waiting for an update and the moment my eyes saw the Other World Chronicles i knew i had to reread it again.

The emotions i felt were the same i had when i read it for the first time back in 2017, i was just that 17 yo girl that was a little lost but had everything she needed with her. I know this is a little too much out of nowhere but i wish you to know that i will always bring those stories with me, it was so beautifully developed, and now that i’m almost 24 with whole new emotions and experiences in life, i appreciate this even more.

Hi, loving author. I have just finished your other worlds series ( all four books ) and I tried to leave a note in the ask box, but as usual, I have too many things to say.

Before I get to the actual stories, I just want to praise your writing cause, wow. Wow. This is the first time I’ve read something so compelling to the point I took the risk and started reading under my blanket from night to the early morning to finish each book ( I have roommates who get really pissy hehe). Like… Wow. The way you’ve captured these moments, these worlds, this universe; it was amazing.

( I’m sweating buckets while writing under a blanket 🤕😅 )

Starting with the first story, the savior. I LOVE these ’I-don’t-know-what’s-happening’ and ’oh-what?-I’m-powerful’. It was satisfying to see the fluff and action happen. These things and tropes are what I live for, and I really love how you wrote it out to be!

P.s. Also, that thing you did when chanyeol gave savior a little fire thing in the library? Cute shit. 

P.s.s. Also sorry this was shorter than the others. All the books as equally as great, but I read these a few days ago, and my memory can only intake so much plot 😅

SECOND BOOK: DROPS!!! my favorite character because, I’m not sure if she’s meant to be perceived this way, but she’s so… CUTE! A cute artist with Jongdae? The connection?? The part where he was training her, but nothing happened, so he reassured her? The part where he saw the picture of him she painted? I said this already, but omfg the connection??? IM ABOUT TO PASS AWAY FROM THE FLUFFY FEELS THIS GAVE ME!!! I LOVE YOU, AND AM VERY WILLING TO KISS YOUR FEET FOR THAT! Again with the  'I-don’t-know-what’s-happening’ and ‘oh-what?-I’m-powerful’, I love it so much.

Third book: blossom. The start of my frustrations. Why? BECAUSE OMFG BLOSSOM IS FUCKING STUBBORN???? Okay Kay, the beginning where Baek flirted with her while she was still untrusting of him, THAT WAS TOO CUTE AHHHH. I was very frustrated at Yifan’s presence in this book, which was a weird feeling since I always tend to be biased towards him regardless of his role in fanfictions, but your power in writing him made me want to choke him badly. Okay back to the plot, I really pitied Baek in this one because holy crap, one year of waiting? Wow. Loyalty is strong huh. That part of waiting made me realize how frustrated I was at bloss because shit man I almost dropped the story out of frustration but no I didn’t, it’s too good. Overall, really great. This book was a ride and while I was super stressed out because of the mc, you wrote it so beautifully that the experience was just wow.

Last book: Miyu. If the previous book was the start of my frustrations, then shit, I should’ve prepared myself for Miyu. This is like those really good dramas with really good pacing and plot that you can’t help but be frustrated. While I was reading all I thought was 'fuck you, just kiss him already and live happily ever after or something- wait what are you doing? Shit why are you leaving him? FUCK’. I don’t know if you’ve seen the kdrama Sky castle, but the stress levels I experienced while reading this story is exactly up to par with that drama. Okay next, the split in time; Jongin and Taemin. A really excellent concept. I’m sorry if I say this too much, but wow. While reading, I really wanted to strangle Taemin since oh shit man I can’t understand whether his intentions are good or not. And then Sirona girl came and I was like 'shit.’ WHEN I TELL YOU HOW MUCH I WANTED TO STRANGLE HER!!! Anyway, back to the plot, the politics in this one made me want to cry from the stress. The love and duty thing you incorporated?? Such a great painful addition ( although It was painful to watch Sehun’s dilemma when it came to that. ). The crossovers???? LOVE LOVE LOVE ( healer ten just sounds so hot?!!!). Back to the politics of the other worlds and stuff, I really wanted to slap Miyu’s stubborn ass. I felt bad for the other too because she’s low-key cold?? Idk. She made up for her behavior at the ending I guess ( though I don’t understand why she wouldn’t join the council??? Maybe this is just me, my age, and my lack of comprehension talking hehe ). The shadow bond (?) thing was also a really great addition. It was the fluffity fluff in the fucking political angst 😤💕 overall, a great story! Amazing writing! Really thought out plot! I thought the previous book was a ride, well, I should’ve prepared myself for this one.

So I can only apologise that it has taken me so long to reply and acknowledge this. I genuinely bloody love getting messages like this because it blows me away that people still pop back and read these old fanfics, that you spent time reading them and you spent time coming to me to tell me how you felt towards them. I’m so humbled by that.
