《They were not an ordinary family with parents and a pet. For as long as the brothers can remember, their grandfather has always been with them, for better or worse.

Sometimes, they dreamed about what it would be like to have a gentle and kind mother. What it's like to have a strong and sturdy dad. But then they sat down at a common table — these questions melted like cotton candy in water.

It was their cozy little world. Mugman talked about the books he read or the vegetable garden, Cuphead how he spent his day or how the sales went. Their grandfather rarely interfered in their conversations, especially over the years.

Sometimes they thought: Does he remember us? Does he remember the adventures that we all had? But their grandfather just smiled silently and ate his food.

Household chores were always on them, but it didn't bother them. Sometimes, they even made more messes than they had before!

Yes, they were not rich. They were not full-fledged family. But if their grandfather was all they remembered....so then — he is their family.》
