This piece is long overdue, mostly because I spent weeks reeling from the news posted by 4Kids Voice Actress, Veronica Taylor, on her twitter informing the public of the news of Rachael's passing. Rachael was among many voice actresses that brought many '90s and 2000s kids' childhoods to life through the characters she played. Be it the feisty tsundere, Misty, the headstrong and confident Jessie, the gender nonconforming passionate Utena, and so many more--the list is truly endless.

For me, she was one of the many inspirations as a voice actress. And, just as a person. From the stories her friends told (namely Lisa Ortiz and Veronica Taylor), she was incredible smart, optimistic, and just overall kind. So, it's unfortunate that the good people are always the ones to suffer the most and be taken away. So, be it an acting inspiration or an inspiration to be a better person, Rachael was that role model.

So, Rachael, while I never got the chance to meet you, just know that you are loved by so many, whether you got to talk to them or never even met them. You touched the lives of so many. You meant to much to the world.
