My idea where you would find Ruel in Companion au.

You can ignore him and pass under him . He would comment " How rude" and just jump down himself. It's pretty high but you can tell me mage doesn't know a slow fall spell? then walk away from you towards the veil jumpers camp. ( also that chest wont be available anymore)
