SLY FOX.

        Kogitsunemaru had the passion of helping other foxes whom weren’t so lucky to as large as he was. Perhaps it was the call of the wild, only the strongest could survive the way nature set itself up. “Will you be alright? I don’t know any doctors.” he mutters softly as he picks up the injured fox, little whimpers escape its muzzle. Hive city was no place for wildlife, at least in these parts. “....you’ve been staring for quite some time, are you going to come out?” The swordsman turns his head in the direction of the scent he picked up, even the slight ruffling of leaves was heard from his excellent hearing.     

      ahh seems kogi’s replies have slowed down! so lets take on a few more,         capping at 3!  

“I have no idea! I’ve never heard of the thing before.”

Unless it was the kind of succ a vampire gives.

“Thank you very much! I’d say you’re rather kind yourself. I think if everyone viewed such a thing the way you do, the world would be a very nice place.”

“I do, yes, and that’s very nice of you to say, thank you. We’re all equals here, if you ask me. No one person is better than everyone else.”

“I’m of the opinion that you should always try your hardest until the very end, but I get what you’re saying.”

“W-why are so many people screaming? Is something wrong? Is somebody hurt?!”

  There were certain things about the cultural sector of the city that she loved. The mesh of other worlds introduced her to ideas and technology that she wouldn’t even believe. Today, she chose to spend her time visiting the various shrines which depicted foreign deities. She had no real reason to her miniature journey, but she was interested in what other universes revered as gods. 

  Many of the shrines were lacking of visitors, but this particular place seemed to have at least one sitting idly around the donation box. He had extraordinary white hair ( almost comparable to Kija ), though on top of his head sat… ears? Well, it definitely wasn’t the weirdest thing she had seen before. 

  “Oh…  I hope I’m not intruding in on anything. Are you familiar with this shrine here? Or are you just interested in it’s history like I am?”

          The sector was a home away from home, though nothing compared to the citadel to say in the least. Ah, but what else did the fox have to do when his master gives no orders for attacks? Such dullness without dancing could bore the man to death, ( though nearly impossible unless he was broken.)  This wasn’t the first time Kogitsunemaru made travels into the sector, especially sitting around the donation box, as he was the mascot for the said shrine. Eyes had briefly closed until he was disturbed, the sound of foot steps easy for his ears to hear, as well as a particular scent she gave off.

      Then barely enough time to get his feet under him, in that case– which means Ryuubi will take him under her care as soon as she is able, given she at least has some means of financial stability. His reassurance despite the lack of a proper weapon helps considerably more than it usually would, if only because the loyalty of her own blades is valued more than most things. “I would hope not to have to expect anything less,” she hums, mouth curving into a faint smile even as she ponders his question. 

          “Of our citadel, thus far Nakigitsune and Ookurikara are those who remain. Souza Samonji, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, Urashima Kotetsu and Doutanuki Masakuni have come and gone. Of other citadels, Horikawa Kunihiro, Kasen Kanesada and Kashuu Kyomitsu remain, to my knowledge. The rest are too many and too varied to list.” Without prompting, one small hand rises, reaching up to ruffle at one long, white forelock. “But it is good to see you,” this him, the him that is hers and not someone else’s, “truly.”

        Kogitsunemaru gives her shoulder a gentle bump with his arm, showing such tame affections that his master was indeed real and safe within this fortress. He shows no fear even without the proper weapon, if he had to fight with his hands, her certainly would for her. “Never will I betray your command, after all this comb you have given me is far too precious to simply forget. Ah but of course you never doubted me once.” words coo softly from his low voice, acknowledging her answer with a nod of his head. “There are more swords here then I imagined, but that’s somewhat a blessing isn’t it? aha, it brings such joy to this little fox.”
