How Diverging Diamonds Keep You From Dying
On February 15, 2014, fitness guru Richard Simmons disappeared. He stopped teaching his regular exercise class at Slimmons, cut off his closest friends, and removed himself from the public eye after decades as one of the most accessible celebrities in the world. Nobody has heard from him - and no one knows why he left. Filmmaker Dan Taberski was a Slimmons regular and a friend of Richard’s. Missing Richard Simmons is Dan’s search for Richard - and the deeper he digs, the stranger it gets. by Topic / Pineapple Street Media / Stitcher
Thanks to my friend Michawn for recommending this podcast series! I remember dancing to Richard Simmons’ workout videos with my sisters as a kid, while eating my grandpa’s famous fruit salad during my breaks. I was inspired by Richard Simmons as a kid, and I appreciated this homage to him.
Enemy EXPLAINED - Movie Review (SPOILERS)
I didn't get the movie as I watched it and I actually thought it was pretty terrible.  Thank goodness there are people who are better at movies than  I am, because now I have a lot more respect for this one.

Giles Duley was born in 1971 in London. After 10 years as an editorial photographer in the fashion and music industries in both the US and Europe, Duley now focuses his work on humanitarian projects. Working with well respected charities such as Medecins Sans Frontiers, IOM and UNHCR to highlight lesser-known stories deserving of public attention and action. Although documenting challenging, and at times, horrific situations, Duley captures the strength of those who fight their adversity rather than succumb. His photographs draw the viewer to the subject, creating intimacy and empathy for lives differing from ours only in circumstance.

Dreamsprawler
Dreamsprawler aims to map people's dreams on a brain. It could also be rephrased as the "global map of people's dreams". Users of the application will be able to tell their dreams using text, images, voices, or videos. All of these data will be uploaded to Google+ under #Dreamsprawler hashtag. Our application will use these data to allow users to revisit other people's dreams.
The viewer will then be able to navigate a brain, where all dreams will be placed. Searching for keywords will display dream locations in the brain space. Dreamsprawler will also rank the world dream and display top dream texts and their corresponding imagery to form a coherent dream story. The mapping between dream contexts and brain neural responses will be done by using the Gallant Lab`s data correlations (www.gallantlab.org).

We watched this video in our Human-Computer Interaction class. Â That'd be cool if they made a tablet that lets you read braille, then blind people would have more access to online material.

In December 2013 I didn't know how to carve, so I'd snow plow down a hill (very exhausting) and fall a lot. Now I'm working towards smoother carves on steeper hills. Here are some points I've been figuring out along the way. Some repeat, but I want to emphasize where they are most important...
