The mage was currently writting something down in a tome when one of her silent wards triggered. It was set to go only go off when someone she didnt know entered into the library, or whenever Marisa did, provided the witch hadnt found a way to deactivate them this time. Patchy of course, didnt look up from her work, simply letting out a small sigh as she continued to write

“Marisa if thats you please make yourself known, I know you’re there” She couldnt tell if it was Marisa or not but she was going to take a guess regardless.

Oh, shoot! He’s caught?! Well, that’s understandable, this IS her library, after all! He has no idea about wards or anything, so maybe she just had really good hearing?

Thankfully, Eri was already in disguise when entering Viole! He has to if he wants to take a book out, right? And not just any disguise either…-

“Sorry, Patchy, it’s just me! I’m just looking through and borrowing a few books, if that’s okay! You wouldn’t mind, right?”

She’ll trust Flan if she wants to borrow a few books right? Right!

Hearing Flans voice brought a bit of confusion to the Mage’s mind for a moment. She was certain that she had the wards set to not go off for any residents of the mansion, Flandre included. A bit of quick thinking and Patchy figured it must be one of two things, either Flandre had sent in one of her clones, which could set off the wards, or something or someone is trying to pretend to be her. A little test should sort this out. Patchy looked up from her book and turned to look over towards where the voice came from.

It took only a moment of looking at her and hearing her voice that Patchouli could tell that Sakuya was exhausted. She was still impressed at how the maid was able to maintain her form despite the tiredness. She watched as the tea was poured and the sugar put into the cup. The mage isnt that picky with her tea, and she usually only had one but given Sakuya’s currently state, Patchy wasnt going to say anything, instead just taking the cup.

“Its been going well, finished up some reading that took a while. But if I may ask you to sit down for a moment Sakuya that would be nice. I could use someone to talk with for a while. So please, pour yourself a cup and sit.” She just wantted to give Sakuya a moment off of her feet to rest, She knew the maid was always busy with her work but given how she has worked her self ragged before, she knew the dangers of doing so and didnt want Sakuya to have anything bad happen to her.

“Mm…Alright.” Sakuya poured herself a cup and sat down right in front of Patchouli. Hopefully this tea would be enough to keep her awake for a little longer. As she sat down, Sakuya propped up her head with her arm to give herself something to rest on. She knows she probably shouldn’t do something that might cause her to fall asleep, but she’s going to anyway.

Patchy had just sat down at a desk, opening up another book to start looking through when she notice Sakuya had appeared near her, the mage looking over to her.

“Good afternoon Sakuya. I hope your day has been going well so far”

A visibly exhausted Sakuya entered the library with a tea tray. She had gone shopping this morning but was held back by an inconvenience. Now she’s decided to just stay up all day until tomorrow morning instead of getting at least a few hours of sleep. Damned vampire schedules.
